🎟️ ASEAN Hive VIP Delegator Raffle 🎰 Week #55 🛺 A Raffle From The Road

raf.png

Greetings ASEAN Hivers, @JustinParke here with another ASEAN Hive VIP Delegator Raffle post, where I announce the winners and do a bit of rambling.

🌏 ASEAN Hive Community 🐃
🎟️ Delegator Raffle #55 🎰

June 17th, 2021

My family and I are on the road and in the capital, Phnom Penh, at the moment. I am creating this raffle at a hotel on my daughter's laptop, and just sent my Intel NUC mini PC back to the USA via FedEx for a warranty replacement. Also, yesterday I was involved in two seperate crashes, both involving Khmer moto riders clipping my rearview mirror while attempting to pass me on the shoulder of the slow lane. One crash sent the driver spinning out of control and smashed his phone, and after stopping to assess the situation, the driver demanded $170 from me to replace his phone.

Well, I'm getting sidetracked now, but needless to say I was not going to pay $1 for being the victim of a careless driver, and the wild demand was only due to racism and because I am foreigner. I tried to be civil at first, but the driver ran around soliciting shop owners and random Khmers to support his version of events, and this pissed me off beyond belief. When he took things too far I turned the tables and let him know he owes me money for damaging my tuk-tuk because he was passing illegally on the wrong side and above the speed limit.

Hmmm, I haven't even mentioned the raffle yet, apologies for that, just venting some stress I guess. Anyhow, let's get into it, there were some delegation upgrades this week from @mers, @rosmadirazali, and @alvonzo, as well as a new delegation from @yulia-hive. Our delegators make this grassroots Hive community possible, and having some grassroots HP is so important when most of the big upvotes on Hive come from mystery accounts that don't post or interact with bloggers in any way. I can assure you all I am a real human (only 99% sure of that part) doing my best to use our HP as wisely as possible. Anyhow, let's just get to the winners already........

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works

Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.

There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.

This week's total effective HP is 80,579, and total delegated HP is 76,415 HP (51,644 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.

The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

Honestly, this post of the week scares me the most because I know my luck in the lottery is not good, hee hee hee. But I always congratulate those who are lucky.

The silver raffle is very competitive because many Hivers have similar odds. I think you will win big eventually.

I'm very sad to read your post tonight my friend, indeed if we are on a trip, the name of the accident we will not be able to avoid. If we don't hit other people, then it's definitely the other way around who bumps into us. Thankfully, you and your family are all fine, and I hope the motorcyclist realizes his mistake soon.

Btw, I think the motorcyclist insisted on asking for compensation for his broken cellphone precisely because he knew that you were a foreigner 😅

And congratulations to you the selected winners of the ASEAN Hive Community Delegator Raffle #55, you are amazing hiver 👍

Yeah, my wife wasn' t very happy that I stopped to check and see he was okay. She and I knew he would demand money when he saw I was not Cambodian. He didn't anticipate I'd speak fluent Khmer and also educate him on the rules of the road either. I

Watch out for the human traffickers at hivefest. You wont know it until its too late. STAY AWAY! Beware, traffickers can be women or men! They will act nice until they dont. There is human trafficking going on around this type of crypto. I have witnessed it. They literally have attempted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem if you run into one of them you may want to immediately shoot them in the face. 187, annihilate, asphyxiate, assassinate, behead, bleed, bludgeon, boil, bomb, bone, burn, bury, butcher, cap, casket, choke, chop, club, crucify, crush, curb, decapitate, decimate, deflesh, demolish, destroy, devein, disembowel, dismember, drown, electrocute, eliminate, end, euthanize, eviscerate, execute, explode, exterminate, extinguish, finish, fry, grind, guillotine, gut, hack, hang, hit, ice, implode, incinerate, kill, liquidate, lynch, massacre, maul, microwave, mutilate, neutralize, obliterate, off, pop, poison, punnish, quarter, ruin, shank, shock, shoot, shred, skin, slay, slaughter, smoke, smother, snipe, snuff, squish, stab, strangle, stone, suffocate, suicide, SWAT, swing, terminate, torture, terrorize, whack, waste, wreck. a shocking news for me when I read the contents inside that you wrote, but there is one good room because you and your family are okay in the accident,

regarding that reckless motorbike driver I can understand a little bit what is being said,, he may want to blame you that you are not the one at fault, he even asked the child for money to replace his phone,, one more good news because you didn't pay a little bit, hopefully for now you and your family are fine there...

I am glad that situation turned out the way it did. Usually the foreigner has to pay a few hundred dollars no matter if it is their fault or not.
