April 19th, 2025It's another raffle and we're closing on raffle number 200. I have been alone at home for over a week because my wife and daughters are enjoying a vacation before we attempt to travel to the USA for a 2-week visit that I have been fighting to make happen around 6-7 years now. The worst part is that we have to stay for 10 months without leaving if we ever want to visit more than once in a lifetime.
Anxiety and stress has been plaguing me the last year, probably a touch of depression too. I am just so worn down after spending anywhere from 4 to 8 hours each day fighting against my government simply for the right to visit as a united family. When I think about how much time and money has been taken from me by government I begin to feel rage and must try to think about something else.
Anyhow, our departure date is June 1st, and it is coming faster than I anticipated. I really want to get back to posting and sharing my life again, but I just haven't felt positive for far too long. These feelings really don't contribute to my creativity so I've just tried to focus on getting our house and property ready to be abandoned for 10 months. How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 193,668, and total delegated HP is 178,593 HP (137,581 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
