November 23rd, 2024This week's raffle is a little late, but then again most weekly raffles come a little later than normal. I'm on the road with my wife in Phnom Penh this week doing some shopping for what will be Christmas gifts for my friends and family in the USA. I have a ticket booked for December 11th, with a return flight to Cambodia booked for December 22nd. It's only 10 days, and it actually takes me an additional day to travel by land to reach my hometown in Indiana, so I guess I actually have 8 days.
I am hoping to stay longer and make some sales of Cambodian kramas while in the USA, mostly because my family and I have hit hard times and my back is against the wall. I am aiming to sell 600x krama gift packages at $25 each, and with this money I should be able to return to Cambodia and focus solely on being a full-time househusband, active parent, and caregiver to my wife. I will try and post about the situation soon before I leave so you all can know what's been going on with me.
Okay, now to delegation news where we have @viviehardika with an uptick from 151 HP to 171 HP, and a reminder that every single HP is cherished, and I do my best to use it wisely to benefit us all as a community. @kriang3teejoe pulled off a back-to-back wins despite not having the greatest odds within the PLATINUM tier. Okay, time to go, I'm a bit rushed and my wife is ready to hit the streets and finish our list of errands for the day. To be continued.....

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 177,856, and total delegated HP is 162,239 HP (131,202 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
