Greetings ASEAN Hivers, @justinparke here with a new challenge for 2026 that encourages us all to share our goals for the new year and how we'll achieve them.

It's 2026 and some of us may have resolutions, some may not. Perhaps it's a more casual thing like goals and aims, maybe even a wish for the new year, but all are welcome for this challenge. Eating healthy, exercising more, spending more time the family, learning a new skill, finding a better job, there are so many potential goals one can set for 2026.

My biggest goal for 2026 is just to survive it, and I would be extremely thankful for that. Bonus points to anyone aiming to quit smoking or drinking, those are both lofty goals, and if you're quitting both at the same time you are basically Superman to me. What are your goals? How will you achieve them? Will you have any help? Feel free to use these questions as prompts to get you started. I look forward to your entries and hope to be inspired.

Well, what can I say other than the Philippines sure knows how to have a party, especially the food and decorations. It is always impressive to me how many folks from this country have the ability to sing, cook, craft, play an instrument, speak a few languages, and create decorations for a party. The winning posts are perfect examples of this, well perhaps besides the entry that features a Santorini styled resort escape, a very interesting sight in a much better climate.
