Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge sends us outside in search of graffiti and street art, so grab your smartphones and start snapping photos.
This week's challenge is focused on graffiti and street art, and all forms are welcome, from the fancy urban murals to street graffiti on trains, bridges, and abandoned buildings. Legal and illegal are the two fundamentally different kinds of graffiti and street art, and for this challenge both are welcome, but I can't encourage you to create any illegal graffiti yourselves. If you happen to be in one of the Southeast Asian countries that has public parks and spaces, there are often art installations in these places as well.
Grab your cameras or smartphones, explore your surroundings, and capture the street art and graffiti in your local community. Share your photos, stories, feelings, and any other relevant info. Remember, every piece has a story and something that makes it unique or interesting. Whether it's a hidden gem in a quiet alley or a welded steel sculpture in a bustling area, we want to see it all. Looking forward to seeing your submissions and the conversations they spark!
This challenge unfortunately only had one participant, but boy oh boy was it a worthy winner. @tegoshei is one of our most artistic members, and capable of working with many different mediums and forms of art. Awesome GIFs are one of the many things she can create, and there is more than one visually engaging GIF within her winning entry. I am more than happy to award her all of th prizes, but hope to see more participation in this week's challenge.
Creating GIFs isn't new to me since I sometimes do it with some of my artwork. And guess what? I'm going to share GIFs of some of my recent artwork. Good thing, I didn't delete the progress shots, yet. I made a little calligraphy for ASEAN HIVE Community. I wanted to crop it, but the letters wouldn't align, so I just used the raw photos. It turned out good and it shows that I really made it from scratch. :) It's one photo for every letter. hahaha
@tegoshei takes everything this week, and I'm honored to give her these additional prizes.
Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
You have organized a wonderful contest with great feeling with all the rules and regulations. Above all, we enjoy street art with great feeling. Those wonderful sculptures give a beautiful feeling above all. Along with some old houses and some beautiful drawings on the street above all, they make it visible. We are all trying to participate here. Above all, your message will help us find beautiful street drawings.
