This week's ASEAN Hive Community Challenge provides a chance to practice your action photography skills because capturing moving athletes is never easy.
Β Β Β Ping pong, volleyball, badminton, kickboxing, the list of sports common in Southeast Asia is a long one, and here in Cambodia every village has a volleyball net. Whether it be some casual backyard kickin' the soccer ball around or a formal sporting event, all photography is welcome as long as you catch some action.
Β Β Β Every country has particular sports that are most commonly played, so for this challenge it will be quite fun to see the differences among the ASEAN countries. If you're unsure of whether or not something is a sport, know that I am always flexible with the challenge rules. If you can get some exercise doing it and be competitive in some way, chances are it might be a sport. Don't forget to tell a story with your post too, the text is just as important as the images.
Β Β Β From modern 7-Eleven supermarkets to mom and pop corner stores, there was a wide variety of neighborhood shops in this challenge. All three winning posts are well worth your time and consideration. These challenge entries range from the fringes of SE Asia in Bangladesh, all the way to the Philippines, and I love to see all these cultures, nationalities, religions, and people from all walks of life interacting in the ASEAN Hive Community.
I choose 7 Eleven as my entry, because this is the first time that we have a 24/7 convenience store in our Municipality Balingoan, Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines. And it is different from other store in our municipality. 7 Eleven convenience stores are well-known for their convenient locations and wide range of products. They have several unique features that differentiate them from other neighborhood shops.
I don't really have a plan to go outside, but then I remember Mommy F the other day urging me to venture outside, and while at it, she said I should visit this particular shop where I can cash out her money on GCash. She's out of cash now, and all her money was in her e-wallet. I just couldn't grant her request at that time because the day before that was actually the day I had a "panic attack."
You can see the amazing food stalls selling egg chops with oil fried garlic and shrimp fish tikka. Roadside place food is one of the variety of delicious food here. People eat all these foods with pleasure. Running a business with lights on in the dark of night is a domineering and village scene but it's in the city. I always love the sight of such wonderful stores. Also presenting to you these amazing times and pictures as a night business.
Β Β Β Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
