Cleaning Up the Garden and Moving some Seedlings to their Specific Plots

It's been raining constantly for more than a week in our place, so we couldn't take care of our garden during that time. Thankfully, Mr. Sun showed up yesterday and today as well. So my family and I instantly clean up the garden.

There were lots of fallen dry leaves, seeds, and flowers from water apple trees. The weeds grew instantly too during those several days of constant rain. That's why we helped each other in cleaning up the garden.

My daughter @tegoshei removed the weeds near the okra and squash seedlings. She cultivated the soil as well and cleaned the surroundings.

My task was to clean the plots by removing the newly grown weeds and cultivating the soil, too. My husband did the sweeping and burning of the dry leaves, and he was also making another plot for the other seedlings.

We were delighted to see that almost all the seedlings are safe amidst heavy and non-stop rain for several days.

The okra and the squash in a wider area still look good and alive, especially the squash; they all grow beautifully and healthily.

We cleaned yesterday and continued cleaning, transferring some seedlings to their specific plots.

This time, we were moving the cherry tomato, tomato, and eggplant seedlings to their own plots. We only have limited time because of some work at home and in the store, especially my daughter's free time from work. So we heartily devoted our time to gardening, too.

Here are our plants that are being transferred to their specific plots already.

And in the wider area, here are now the okra and the squash.

These are the additions of the plants that already existed in the garden, like the moringa, lemon grass, chili, and some fruit bearing tree like calamansi, papaya, guyabano, water apple, and coconut tree.

This area will have an abundance of fruits and vegetables in the future, and I can't wait to witness them and harvest them soon. It's really a joy and fulfillment to have a garden in our own yard.
