In times when the world feels uncertain, it’s often the simplest innovations at home that bring the greatest comfort.

Lately, many families including ourshave felt the impact of rising fuel prices. With the ongoing conflict in Iran affecting global oil supply, fuel costs have surged, and even here in the Philippines, gasoline and LPG prices continue to climb week after week.
What used to be a simple household expense has now become something we constantly think about specially me as a mom..... “When will we need to refill again?”

But in the middle of all this, something amazing happened in our home.

My husband, with his curious and resourceful mind, spent time watching videos on YouTube. Learning, observing, and figuring things out. What started as simple curiosity turned into something incredibly practical. Soon enough, he built his very own used oil stove. Yes, from scratch.

From recycled materials. From pure determination, that's why I call him "Tinker Ball" just like Tinker who loves to invent things useful.
Whenever he is in his workshop he is always building something.

And now? It has become one of the most helpful things in our daily life.

This homemade stove may not look fancy, but it carries so much value. It allows me to cook without constantly worrying about gas running out. No more sudden interruptions in the middle of preparing meals. No more stress about budgeting for the next refill right away.

While developing his invention, he sometimes lost track of time. He is so engrossed that it's already past midnight. I guess that's what happens when your mind is full of ideas. Pretty much like Einstein!😍
I had to remind him to let his one and only earthly body have some rest.😅😄

There is something deeply satisfying about cooking with it. Knowing that what fuels our meals is something that would have otherwise gone to waste. It’s not just practical it’s sustainable.

In a time when the world is facing rising costs and uncertainty, this small innovation inside our home feels like a quiet victory.

It reminds me that:
Solutions don’t always have to be expensive.
Learning is truly powerful, thank you, YouTube!❤️
And sometimes, the best kind of security is what we create with our own hands❤️

I am beyond grateful not just for the stove but for my husband’s creativity, effort, and willingness to find ways to make life easier for our family.❤️❤️❤️
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about saving money.
It’s about resilience.
It’s about resourcefulness.
And it’s about love expressed through action.

As a wife, I feel so blessed to have a man who knows how to take care of his family. He is always ahead, always thinking on how to be prepared.
I love my Tinker Ball!♥️♥️♥️

I'm gonna try used oil stove someday, especially now a days Liquefied petroleum gas is so expensive. Used oil stove is much cheaper than liquefied petroleum gas.
