My Journey Into Storytelling as a Profitable Skill [ENG/ESP]

It's been a while for me here in the community but I've been learning a lot while away. One of my main goals for this year 2026 is to grow on a skill that will be pay in the nearest future. I've been working on my entrepreneurial mindset by reading books, mentors and attending webinars.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned in this journey is, "Having a skill means there is a problem you want to solve". I really find that lesson cool because it is how the world has changed so much, where people get things done faster because some people came up with ideas.

There are so many great ideas today that is making lives easier, I am sure to say it is all the power of entrepreneurship because they thought of a problem and brought solution. It's one thing to see a problem, it's another to be bothered about the problem. So I think entrepreneurs who are making it a point of duty to act on their thoughts are worth being praised for their works.

In that spirit, I have started to take note of problems that I want to solve as an upcoming entrepreneur and the skill that is closest to who I have always been since childhood, is what I'll be using to solve these problems. The world started with a story, people have stories, life is a story.

I want to be able to tell these stories so well and impact lives with them. I've been telling stories since I was a little girl but I didn't know there was a high paying skill called "Storytelling" until I decided to change my life, asked myself questions and figured there's a thing I want to do.

This skill will not only solve problems for me (Finding storyworthy moments in my life that will live in my memory all my life), the skill will also solve problems for people (Those who can not tell their own stories but have stories that should be heard). I also plan to use this skill to make sales and grow businesses faster for people.

It's a long process, I have to learn from scratch again even though I've always had the skill in me. And this is because I want to do a remarkable job when I finally start to impact lives with my stories. I also want to learn the skill in the professional way because it was casual before.

I'm grateful for my guide who has been helping me find the right books to hone my skill, I'm also attending classes that expands my knowledge for when I start writing stories for the most unexpected situations. I'm also keeping conscious track of stories happening in my life.

All these are exciting processes for me and I can't wait to be good enough in my storytelling skill to prove to myself and the world that I have something we all need - That our stories has to be told and these stories happen everyday in life.

Ha pasado un tiempo desde que estoy aquí en la comunidad, pero he estado aprendiendo mucho mientras estaba ausente. Uno de mis principales objetivos para este año 2026 es crecer en una habilidad que me pague en un futuro cercano. He estado trabajando en mi mentalidad emprendedora leyendo libros, aprendiendo de mentores y asistiendo a seminarios web.

Una de las lecciones más grandes que he aprendido en este camino es: "Tener una habilidad significa que hay un problema que quieres resolver". Realmente encuentro esa lección muy interesante porque muestra cómo el mundo ha cambiado tanto, donde las personas logran hacer las cosas más rápido porque algunas personas tuvieron ideas.

Hoy en día hay tantas ideas geniales que están haciendo la vida más fácil; estoy segura de que todo es el poder del emprendimiento, porque alguien pensó en un problema y trajo una solución. Es una cosa ver un problema, y otra muy distinta es preocuparse por él. Así que creo que los emprendedores que hacen de ello un deber actuar sobre sus ideas merecen ser reconocidos por su trabajo.

Con ese espíritu, he comenzado a tomar nota de los problemas que quiero resolver como emprendedora en crecimiento, y la habilidad que está más cercana a quien siempre he sido desde la infancia es la que usaré para resolver estos problemas. El mundo comenzó con una historia, las personas tienen historias, la vida es una historia.

Quiero ser capaz de contar estas historias de una manera tan buena que impacte vidas. He estado contando historias desde que era una niña, pero no sabía que existía una habilidad bien remunerada llamada "Narración de historias" hasta que decidí cambiar mi vida, hacerme preguntas y descubrir que hay algo que quiero hacer.

Esta habilidad no solo resolverá problemas para mí (encontrar momentos dignos de ser contados en mi vida que vivirán en mi memoria para siempre), sino que también resolverá problemas para otras personas (aquellos que no pueden contar sus propias historias pero tienen historias que deben ser escuchadas). También planeo usar esta habilidad para generar ventas y ayudar a que los negocios crezcan más rápido.

Es un proceso largo; tengo que aprender desde cero nuevamente, aunque siempre he tenido esta habilidad dentro de mí. Y esto es porque quiero hacer un trabajo extraordinario cuando finalmente comience a impactar vidas con mis historias. También quiero aprender la habilidad de manera profesional, porque antes era algo casual.

Estoy agradecida con mi guía, quien me ha estado ayudando a encontrar los libros adecuados para perfeccionar mi habilidad. También estoy asistiendo a clases que amplían mi conocimiento para cuando empiece a escribir historias en las situaciones más inesperadas. Además, estoy llevando un registro consciente de las historias que ocurren en mi vida.

Todos estos procesos son emocionantes para mí y no puedo esperar a ser lo suficientemente buena en mi habilidad de narración para demostrarme a mí misma y al mundo que tengo algo que todos necesitamos: que nuestras historias deben ser contadas y que estas historias suceden cada día en la vida.
