Our Plants Had Their Rain Party: Some Heavy Rain, Raindrops, and a Glamorous Green

I had a hard time sleeping early last night because of two reason, first one is..its really hot last night. Second, I had to watch Batik for a while because she sleep on top of her baby, she like has no awareness of her surrounding. There are times that she ignore her babies cry, even though she's the reason they are crying, aigoooo. Batik is always that "bad momma" to her kittens. This is already her fourth pregnancy I think and her babies always have one ending, death.

I hope these babies live this time. We also have to be responsible hooman for them, so i'm doing my best to look after them. I just hope Batik don't stop breast feeding her babies because that always happen in the past. I don't know why she's like that. But I feel like it becomes ticklish for her when the babies touch her nipples.

Anyways, the weather today is kinda nice, it rains last night too, then this morning it rains hard as well. But even though the breeze is cold during that minutes of heavy rain, the heat after it is still so intense. It will really make you sweat. I like that I sweat coz of it, but I hate it. Mommy F hate it too, she had no choice but to wet her arms more often or else...

...and so, coz it rains, I feel like it is the best time to look around the yard. After the rain shots are always the best because for some reason, it gives a special but natural effect to the photo when captured it.

Raw and unfiltered -but wait, some built in camera still has filter, but well, I am satisfied with this short. And look how happy the plants with this rain

The res chili peppers are all pretty in green and red. Their colors was enhanced thanks to the rain drops. This is the reason why strolling in the garden after the rain is the best thing ever! You get to witness something that you can only see after the rain, y'all know what i'm saying right? The after the rain effect. By the way, some of the chili are ready for harvest already. But there's not enough. Mama finally found a person that will buy these for her. She needs more of them now

And here's the Eggplants on the other side, they're taller now by the way. And mama is so happy that they started to bloom flowers again. But goodness, those big ants is really taking a feast in there. I had to tell Mama about it. Not sure yet if she did something about it.

And the Okras, well, yeah, they're still alive. Haha. Seriously, these are puppies favorite toys actually. I saw them munching it as if it is their favorite toy. They are not eating it, they just want to destroy it, lol. Aigoooo. Its been a long time since it gave Mama a fruits. Sad.

The alugbati are also doing awesomely in one corner, got a taste too of a raindrops. They really had a shower, all of our plants here haha. So happy for these plants, with the extreme heat we experienced for weeks now, this is seriously a blessing for them -for us too of course

Here's the sweet potato leaves, they're Mama's favorite ingredients whenever she's short of money, lol. And the small Papaya there is really taking its time to grow. The others are already taller that it already

I also checked the Bell Peppers, and tadaaaaan, it has one tiny bell pepper already. I hope this rains gives enough water in it for it to grow more. And don't fall now pls (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠).
