Hello plants lovers of this green garden community! I was very happy seeing different flowers, vegetables and garden views here. By the way today I'm going to share something that adds in my garden.
I saw an open space again and I think this is the best place to plant a vegetable. Days ago I had bought a sweet potato stalks and I just throw it away after but today I decided to pick them up and plant them here in this vacant area.
This is also a shady area. The sunlight is not direct so I'm sure that it won't die when it's too hot. It's covered by a banana leaves from above.
Surely the place is cold and adaptive for a new plant.
This is next to my bathroom. So it's watery and the water is black and fertile. It looks sandy, because this place is more on sand especially when there is a flood. The North part of our house has quarrying warehouse so when there is a flood a lot of sand and gravel spreads everywhere and people collect it on drainages.
Then I planted it everywhere. I'm thinking of planting it one by one and I think it really consumes a lot of space so I just plant it by bundle and I just made three holes to accumulate the space and if this successfully grew it will take all the space here.
I think it's better to plant it in bunches. I think the survival rate is higher. It was very beautiful and I was very excited to grew this plants. I always buy it in the market but today I have my own at home. This is very helpful and nutritious.
And by the way these are the okra seeds I replanted last week. Last month I also planted okra seeds. Now they are a lot! It begins to sow and I'm excited for then to grow. It's more difficult to take care of them when they grow because the soil is sandy so I have to put fertilizer. My fertilizer is the biodegradable waste I have in my kitchen like the fruit peels, egg shells and other vegetable remains. I don't have to buy synthetic fertilizer it's expensive.
That's all for today garden makers! Thank you so much for reading my blog until here! See you next time!
I am going to plant sweet potatoes soon and will share it step by step with you guys in hivegarden.
