En estos dÃas, el cielo se tiñe de un gris profundo y el aroma a tierra mojada inunda cada rincón, convirtiéndose en el escenario perfecto para pausar el ritmo diario y observar cómo la vida florece con una energÃa renovada. Para mÃ, esta etapa es mucho más que un cambio climático; es un recordatorio constante de la resiliencia y la belleza de nuestro entorno natural.

The rainy season in my beloved Venezuela not only brings freshness to the air, but also awakens in me a special connection with the nature that surrounds me. These days, the sky turns a deep gray and the scent of damp earth fills every corner, creating the perfect setting to pause the daily rhythm and observe how life blossoms with renewed energy. For me, this season is much more than a change in the weather; it is a constant reminder of the resilience and beauty of our natural environment.
​Como apasionada de la fotografÃa, esta temporada se ha convertido en mi musa favorita. Cada gota de rocÃo posada sobre una hoja o el contraste vibrante del verde intenso tras el aguacero son motivos que me obligan a tomar la cámara y capturar instantes que, de otro modo, pasarÃan desapercibidos. Disfruto caminar por mi espacio, buscando ese ángulo único donde la luz natural, incluso en los dÃas nublados, acaricia los detalles más pequeños de mis plantas, logrando composiciones que reflejan la paz que siento al estar en contacto directo con lo orgánico.
As a photography enthusiast, this season has become my favorite muse. Every drop of dew on a leaf or the vibrant contrast of deep green after a downpour compels me to pick up my camera and capture moments that would otherwise go unnoticed. I enjoy walking around my garden, searching for that unique angle where natural light, even on cloudy days, caresses the smallest details of my plants, creating compositions that reflect the peace I feel when I'm in direct contact with nature.
​El cuidado de mis plantas se ha transformado en un ritual de gratitud. Ver cómo responden al agua de lluvia, desplegando hojas más brillantes y brotes que parecen desafiar la gravedad, me llena de una satisfacción inexplicable. He aprendido a observar sus necesidades, a entender cuándo la humedad es suficiente y a organizar mi espacio para que cada una pueda lucir su mejor versión bajo este clima tan particular. Cada planta en mi colección tiene una historia, y verlas prosperar es mi mayor recompensa.
Caring for my plants has become a ritual of gratitude. Seeing how they respond to the rainwater, unfurling brighter leaves and buds that seem to defy gravity, fills me with an indescribable satisfaction. I've learned to observe their needs, to understand when the humidity is sufficient, and to organize my space so that each one can look its best in this unique climate. Every plant in my collection has a story, and watching them thrive is my greatest reward.

Más allá del simple cultivo, la presentación de mis plantas durante estos meses es una forma de expresión personal. Me encanta organizar mis ejemplares, creando pequeñas selvas urbanas que decoran mi hogar y transforman la atmósfera, dándole un toque de frescura y vitalidad que solo la naturaleza puede ofrecer. La forma en que las dispongo no es casualidad; busco que cada rincón resalte la vitalidad de esta temporada, permitiendo que quienes visitan mi espacio, o ven mis fotografÃas, puedan sentir un poco de esa armonÃa que cultivo dÃa a dÃa.

Beyond simply growing them, the way I display my plants during these months is a form of personal expression. I love arranging them, creating little urban jungles that decorate my home and transform the atmosphere, giving it a touch of freshness and vitality that only nature can offer. The way I arrange them is not by chance; I want every corner to highlight the vibrancy of this season, allowing those who visit my space, or see my photographs, to feel a bit of the harmony I cultivate every day.

En conclusión, este periodo de lluvias es para mà una invitación constante a la contemplación y a la creatividad. La fotografÃa me permite documentar este proceso de crecimiento, mientras que la naturaleza me enseña, con su paciencia, que todo tiene su momento para florecer. Estoy convencida de que integrar estos elementos en mi vida diaria, compartiendo mi visión a través de cada captura y cada planta, es la manera más auténtica que tengo de honrar la belleza que nos brinda nuestra tierra venezolana en esta época del año.
In conclusion, this rainy season is a constant invitation to contemplation and creativity for me. Photography allows me to document this growth process, while nature teaches me, with its patience, that everything has its time to bloom. I am convinced that integrating these elements into my daily life, sharing my vision through each photograph and each plant, is the most authentic way I have to honor the beauty that our Venezuelan land offers us at this time of year.
