Join me today as I harvest this fresh calamansi from my auntie Lennie's garden. Hello everyone especially to the active members of @hivegarden it's me again @clarabels Happy Saturday everyone I hope you're all doing great 😃 and may you all enjoy your weekend full ug fun and excitement😊

Today, My husband and I walked over to my Auntie Lennie's garden after she called us to harvest some calamansi, she couldn't do it herself because of her condition, and it worked out perfectly since I really love using calamansi in sauces and making calamansi juice which is good for the heart and boosts our immunity, too☺️.

As we started walking toward my aunt's garden to harvest calamansi. You could see how excited my toddler, Baby Naiah, was and my husband was also delighted with the path, since they both love looking at green plants.

So, this is the calamansi tree we harvest from it’s actually a small tree, but it’s loaded with fruit and the calamansi are all large, too.😊

In this picture, my husband has started picking calamansi. you can see how much he’s enjoying the harvest. It’s easy to pick them since the tree isn't tall. he can reach them without trouble. We also brought plastic bags to put the harvested calamansi in, as we plan to share some with my mother's siblings especially my tito Ivan who also loves pure calamansi juice hehe🙂.

A lot of butterflies land in this spot. I don't know why, but it's so satisfying to watch them. Some of them just fly around while my husband is busy with the harvest, hehe.

As for the rest... we managed to harvest three cellophane bags full of fresh calamansi. We are incredibly grateful to have this extra food for the family at least we don't need to buy calamansi at the market anymore and we also want to thank our hardworking Auntie Lennie, who put in the effort to plant this calamansi tree.

At that moment, we were about to head home with our harvest of fresh calamansi when my Auntie Lennie's grandchild arrived. She immediately approached my toddler, Baby Naiah, to say hello, and they played together, my husband also joined in, having fun lifting my toddler up. You can see in this picture just how happy they were especially my toddler, who was laughing heartily and was delighted by the playful teasing this photo really warms my heart❤️.

Now that we’re back home, we’ve just finished sorting the freshly harvested calamansi and I’m also getting them ready to make some fresh calamansi juice a favorite of both mine and my toddler’s. It’s also one way to help keep the whole family avoid from getting sick easily🙂
