Flower Garden with Miss Jo: Where Friendship Blooms Like Every Flower In The Garden

Flowers bloom when they are well taken care of. Water, sunlight, and a gardener's effort all affect their growth. Just like friendship, it blossoms with care, love, and support.

Yesterday, my friend, Miss Jo, and I checked on her beautiful flower garden. It's been months since she started planting them, and seeing them now made us realize that all her hard work had paid off. The once tiny plants had grown into beautiful flowers that added color and life to the garden.

The flowers in her garden are globe amaranth, zagreb, wishbone, and periwinkle. My favorite one is the globe amaranth which has vibrant colors, and I discovered that even when dried, it keeps its beautiful shape, making it perfect for dried flower arrangements.

The zagreb is a yellow variety that attracts butterflies whenever it blooms and Miss Jo has two of this plant. When I look at it closely, it's starting to look like an animated sun. šŸ˜„

The wishbone flower got its name from the tiny stamen inside the flower that looks like a wishbone. It can also grow well even in shady areas and comes in different colors, such as purple, peach, and pink. I personally like the purple ones.

Lastly, the periwinkle, which is not only admired for its colorful blooms but is also known for the chemical compounds it contains that researchers have studied for their potential use in cancer treatment. From a simple flower to a source of medicine, what an amazing creation! It also comes in different colors such as yellow, white, pink and purple.

While we were walking around the garden, this friendly orange cat started following us. Maybe he wanted to join our little garden tour. By the way, his name is Orange, just like the color of his fur. He happily followed us wherever we went, making our walk even more enjoyable.

Of course, we picked some mulberries again. We just couldn't get enough of their sweet and slightly sour, refreshing taste. The best part is that you can eat them right after picking them from the tree. Truly, fresh fruits always taste better straight from the garden.

Not only that, Miss Jo also shared some of the fruits they had harvested from their farm. We enjoyed fresh rambutan and mangosteen, and they tasted so delicious. Have you tried eating these fruits? I'd love to know which one is your favorite. As for me, I like mangosteen more.

After spending time in the garden, we rested and enjoyed some pizza and ice cream while sharing stories and laughter. Moments like these remind me that happiness doesn't always come from grand adventures. Sometimes, it comes from simple conversations, fresh air, beautiful flowers, and spending time with people who genuinely care about you.

I can't thank God enough for blessing me with a friend like Miss Jo. Friendships, just like flowers, continue to bloom when they are nurtured with kindness, love, and time.
Thank you so much for reading! Until the next story to be told.
