I thought I was the only one who loves nature (garden) so much until I met this client.
Simisola, a client who showed in every way her love for gardens.
I've never seen a client so determined to rock a garden inspired fit.
Hold on, let me tell you the story.
On this fateful day, she walked into my office with this green fabric.
She was nominated for an event and wanted to look different. We brainstormed so many ideas but all she was focused on, was rebirth, fertility and nature.
I suggested we beaded the dress like a stem on the fabric but she said No! I want the leaves, the stems, I want it all green!
It was quite challenging because it required stretching beyond my normal activities to achieve.
I needed to get a paint spray, corper wire, soldering iron and so much more.
It was tasking, very tasking but I'm not one to back out in fear. I believe in trying even if I fail, I'll get it right. So I went to work.
I got everything I needed in the market and I actually faced it and conquered.

On this day, she came for her fittings, and I couldn't be prouder.
I love how she wanted to explore with her outfit, I love her smile which proved she loved the dress.
What better way can you prove this love without showing it and even wearing it.
Love is simple, if you love something or someone you're not scared to show it off.
This made me appreciate my love for garden even more, to see people not just own gardens, they nurture it even in their hearts.

As I took a walk around my compound today, I reflected and smiled.
Nature is indeed beautiful and it's worth every effort we put. How we care for these plants is actually a reflection of who we are on the inside.
Every day we water our pants, we also water our hearts, to bloom and grow. Everytime this plants blooms, we also glow and stay determined to bloom even in chaos. There's so much lesson we can learn from our garden.
It teaches us peace, growth, authenticity and much more.

Have you ever shown your love for something outrightly, unapologetically in such a way you teach others to love that thing too?
