Splinterlands Communityy Engagement Challenge - Have You Trained Yet?

Hello friends, hello hivians, hello splinterlands community and hello game lovers, it’s that time again where we share our splinterlands content. In this week’s community challenge, we write again on support articles but this time we write about a new feature that most players will love.

For this specific challenge, I will be writing about the new, training mode. It has com to replace the former, practice mode introducing a host of new features. In the past, practice ws where new players went to test out the game, learn about some rules and probably some new cards and strategies.

First of all, let's locate this new training feature. At where practice was which is the top right corner of spl just below your avatar, you can find training. It is the second feature just after challenge.

Click on training to launch. The training feature is going to help players test out their neew strategies against bots. What is interesting about this is that you do not lose your rating for a lost battle. Also, you do not gain ratings for a battle you win. Hence, this is more or less like a playground for you to use with minimum fuss.

What clearly seperates training from challenge is the fact that you can customize the battle. You can set parameters and have a say in the kind of enemy you will face. This is important for me because the practice mode didn't have that and as far as I remember was quite easy.

However with this new training feature, a whole new world has been opened. There is difficulty, allowed cards and summoner level caps. With difficulty you can opt between chossing an easy, a medium or a hard enemy.

In the allowed cards category, again you have to option to toggle between 4 options. Yu can choose to use all cards where you and your enemy have no card boundaries or use modern cards, ghost cards or ghost modern cards

When it comes to the summoner level cap, you have 5 options to choose from. The best way to choose an option here is to choose one that matches your own summoner level caps. Otherwise you will bring level 1 or 2 summoners while your enemy brings maxed level summoners to battle. The options here are, novice, adept, intermediate, adept and advanced. Once you are done with these, click on send.

So, allow me to choose my own paramaters and enter into battle with one of these bots. I will choose the medium difficulty level, modern cards and intermediate summoner level cap. Of course the next thing is to click on send.

After selecting a team, the battle then begins.

I must say I really like this new feature bacause it allows you to explore and use strategies you normally wouldn't use. With this, you can always surprise your "real" enemies with new and fresh tactics.
