My Journey in Hive Grove: Growing Trees & PVU Vibes

Intro

After a few years away, I've returned with an even greater desire to explore the Hive ecosystem, and this new game caught my attention. It reminded me a lot of my early days in crypto with the PVU plants.

What is Hive Grove?

It’s basically a clicker game, similar to most P2E games out there. The goal of the game is to water your trees daily and also help water other players' forests. This adds a very interesting social element, as you can even leave messages of support.

Game Mechanics

The main objective of the game is to water your trees so they can grow and evolve (they have multiple stages with increasing rewards). Each tree is planted on its own land, which must be purchased beforehand. You need to water them every 24 hours, but the countdown can be reduced by one hour if another player supports you by watering your tree. Likewise, you can also help out other players.

My Strategy

The game gifts you a land with a seed tree to get started. I purchased 5 additional plots with 3 pine trees and 2 willows, which seem to offer the best rewards, considering there is a cap on how many trees of each type you can buy. Every day I water my trees and assist others with theirs. Rewards are fixed per tree, with the possibility of a 4x multiplier if you are lucky.

Feedback on Development and Sustainability

The game is experiencing almost daily improvements thanks to the great work of its developer @shiftrox. When it comes to the economy, the rewards are quite moderate, and mechanisms will likely be implemented to make the game more sustainable over time.

Wrapping up

I'm really enjoying the game, and it's definitely one of my favorite things since my return to Hive. I encourage everyone to join, as the investment is small and it's totally worth it.
