How to Get the New Frontier Cards in Splinterlands?

A while back, a Splinterlands update introduced a set of EXTRA new cards to the Frontier collection: the Arena Vanguard cards. These cards are inspired by Splinterlands content creators and community members, aiming to bridge the gap between the audience and the game by blending the two into a single card collection.

Since these are new cards, it would be interesting to discuss each one in detail—perhaps helping players decide which ones to pursue—but given the number of cards involved, the focus here will be on how you can actually obtain them.

The new cards are: Jolius Blast (Fire element, melee tank); Khan Feywest (Earth element, mage); Ratbound Corsair (Water element, archer); King Erminaz Twincleaver (Light element, melee DPS); Gorm The Vengeful (Death element, melee DPS); and Buns the Unseen (Neutral tank). In the Dragon faction, we have the summoner Aurendrak and the mage Vaelok—both Drakoshans.

Looking at their market prices—well above other cards of the same rarity, with most hovering around $1 and the summoner at $4—you can get an idea that they aren't easily obtained.

Since they are inspired by community members, the primary way to get these cards is by participating in giveaways and streams hosted by those creators; however, if you're looking for more direct options, check them out below!

How to Get the New Frontier Cards in Splinterlands?

To get most of the new cards, you can head to the Spark Shop. To find it, simply go to SHOP in the menu and then select Spark. Once in this new shop—exclusive to the in-game "Spark" token—you will find an "OTHER" tab at the end, where you can usually find items like Splintervibes (music) and Frontier Energy.

However, following the update that added the new "EXTRA" cards from the Foundations collection, all the new cards are available for purchase—with the exception of Aurendrak and Vaelok (both Dragon cards). You still have access to the others, which belong to specific elements, as well as the Neutral card, Buns The Unseen.

Each of these cards—the ones available in the Spark Shop—costs exactly 30,000 Sparks. This token is obtained by spinning the daily wheel, where you earn between 100 and 500 Sparks per attempt. This means that these new cards are quite difficult to acquire. For those who managed to save up that amount, it means spending all the tokens at once on a single card—a move I’m not sure is worth it. However, since there are no other card options available right now—only skins and energy—it might be the best use for those sparks...

Beyond the Spark Shop—which is the most direct way to get at least one copy of the new cards—you might also get lucky with the "Frontier Cards" option on the daily wheel. This is a new option recently added alongside these cards, allowing you to obtain one of the two limited-edition cards while supplies last.

Since I haven't been lucky enough to land that option on the daily wheel (Lux's Favor) yet, I don't know exactly which cards are included, though based on the announcements, I believe it involves one of the dragons—specifically, the possibility of getting a Vaelok or an Aurendrak.

Para conseguir a maioria das novas cartas você pode ir até o Spark Shop. Para encontrá-lo, bastar ir em SHOP no menu, e depois selecionar Spark. Chegando nessa nova loja exclusiva do in-game "token" Spark, você encontrará no final da loja uma aba OTHER, em que você geralmente encontra algum tipo de Splintervibes (música) e Frontier Energy.

Só que depois da atualização que adicionou as novas cartas EXTRA da coleção Foundations, você encontrará disponível para compra todas as novas cartas, menos a Aurendrak e o Vaelok, ambas cartas dragão, mas ainda terá acesso as demais de elementos específicos e também a Neutral que é o Buns The Unseen.

Cada um dessas cartas - as que estão disponíveis na loja de Sparks - custam exatamente 30 mil Sparks. Esse token é obtido ao girar a roleta diária, em que você ganha entre 100 a 500 sparks por tentativa. Isso significa que essas cartas novas estão muito difíceis de serem obtidas.

Para quem conseguiu juntar essa quantidade, vai significar perder todos os tokens de uma só vez para uma única carta, o que eu não sei se compensaria ou não, mas como não tem outras opções de cartas no momento, apenas skins e energia, talvez seja o melhor que pode ser feito com os sparks...

Além da Spark Shop que é a forma mais direta de obter pelo menos uma cópia das novas cartas, na roleta diária é possível que você tenha sorte de conseguir a opção de "Frontier Cards". Essa foi uma nova opção adicionada recentemente junto dessas novas cartas, que permite que conseguir uma das duas cartas limitadas enquanto durar o supply.

Como não tive a sorte de conseguir essa opção ao girar a roleta diária (Lux's Favor) não sei exatamente qual seriam as cartas que vem, mas acredito que seja um dos dragões pelo que foi divulgado. Sendo possível conseguir um Vaelok ou Aurendrak.
