Hey everyone, I'm back with another FreeCash post, I started a new project thanks to my friend @cherokee4life 26 days ago, it's a site where you get paid for playing games and later, when you have unlocked 'advanced mode', basically just cross the earn $20 threshold you can also fill in surveys but I only do that when I don't have anything else to do because it takes up a lot of time.
If you missed it, I recommend reading my first post about FreeCash here, because this is a game special I plan on doing for the best earning games available on there, and my first post covers what FreeCash is all about in more detail.
As a Splinterlands player, it's great to have another income stream, and I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting much but DAMN, I'm glad to admit I was wrong with that! ๐
Raid: Shadow Legends is a turn-based fantasy role-playing game (RPG) developed and published by Plarium. It officially launched in March 2019 for mobile devices (iOS and Android), and later became available on PC through Plarium Play and Steam. The game quickly gained popularity thanks to its high-quality graphics, a massive roster of collectible characters, and a strong presence in online advertising and influencer marketing.
At its core, Raid is about assembling a team of Championsโpowerful warriors from 15 different factionsโand taking them into battle across various game modes. These include:
Campaign Mode: A story-driven PvE experience with 12 chapters, where players uncover the lore of the world of Teleria, this is where you will spend most time grinding XP to level up.
Dungeons: Specialized PvE challenges where you farm gear, potions, or shards to strengthen your Champions.
Faction Wars: Test your strength using Champions from the same faction in increasingly difficult battles, you need to have a large collection of champions for this, for just grinding XP the get rewarded, so without any long term goals, this is kinda useless, I did it sometimes just for fun.
Arena (PvP): Battle against other playersโ teams to climb the competitive ranks, you will need to do this for the daily quest to get a energy refill.
Clan Boss and Hydra Boss: Cooperative content where you join a clan to defeat powerful bosses for rewards.
Doom Tower: A rotating challenge mode that requires strategic team building to conquer its many floors, this is for further in the game, it unlocked at level 40 and I didn't do anything with this.
Each Champion belongs to a rarity (Common to Legendary), an affinity (Magic, Spirit, Force, or Void), and a role (Attack, Defense, Support, etc.), allowing for deep strategic customization. Players collect and upgrade Champions using various resources, artifacts, and skill enhancements, making progression a key element of gameplay.
The affinities works in a rock - paper - scissor way, with the void affinity having no strengths or weaknesses against the others.
So on FreeCash there are different rewards for different regions I think, because friends in the U.S and Germany have different rewards than I had, and my daughter has the same as me so that's why I think this is a regional thing, no idea why though, comparing my reward list with the lists of my friends, I was happy with my list - only needing to get to level 45 because on the other lists I saw level 50 and 60 as a goal, the increase in difficulty to grind trough the levels from level 40 and up was already a lot so going higher will undoubtedly makes this even harder.
The first couple of items are easy to do, but I felt being able to open sacred shards that early in the game was only possible by spending money, and I wasn't planning on that so I skipped them. You can earn sacred shards from completing missions as well, which are boring and consist of tasks like equipping champions with certain sets of gear you earn in your campaign battles.
When I started, I didn't realize I would get sacred shards for this so maybe this is possible to complete without spending money.
So, the first goal I had was upgrading 2 heroes to 5 stars, the way upgrading works is, to make a 3 star champion, you need to have a 2 star level 20 and sacrifice two other 2 stars in the tavern, same way for the higher stars, so to make a 4 star, you need a 3 star of level 30 and sacrifice three other 3 stars.
In your battles, you sometimes receive new champions and shards you can use to summon champions, something I only discovered in my second week of playing was the 'review' icon in the champion tab.
Vilespawn looks really awesome, the art of the champions is great, which makes this game more fun to play, when you click on the review button, a new windows opens where your champion is rated on every different aspect within the game, I would keep anything above 4.0 and sacrifice anything below.
Also good to mention: when you receive doubles of the champions you already have and are using to level up, you can sacrifice the doubles so your champion upgrades it's special attacks.
Just for the purpose of getting to the FreeCash rewards, you play a different strategy than when you want to play this game for a long time, I actually played this game before a couple of years ago and I liked it but after a couple of weeks I became bored with it, so I knew it would be fun to grind to the required levels but it would be good to stop with it once I was done with that.
When you click on the battle button you go to the campaign map, consisting of 12 different towers with progressing difficultly, every tower has 7 stages with a boss at the end before you can continue to the next stage, you earn 1 star for completing the tower with a full team and had casualties, 2 stars for completing with a full team without anyone dying and 3 stars for completing the tower with only 2 champions - without losses, so that's a thing for when you are higher level, I only did this when I was around level 35 so I was able to easily power trough all towers on normal difficulty.
I recommend using the x2 speed and auto battle option, as well as selecting the 'super raid' box once you have completed a tower completely because upon completion once you start doing the same tower again, a super raid will use you energy twice and fast for double the rewards, and grinding this all the way up to level 40+ takes A LOT of time, so it's best to use it as efficient as you can.
By login in every day you get rewarded with nice gear, tomes you can use to level up your champions attacks the same way as using a duplicate champion you received and a lot of energy to grind more battles with, good there's a thing called multi battles, so everything is set to automated play, the only thing you can to keep an eye for is when your champions have reached maxed level so you can replace them.
When I started with the game, daily logins were also rewarded with a Legendary champion after 7 days, Alice the Wanderer, and she is really strong! (she looks like Abby in the TV series NCIS ๐)
She was able to grind trough most of the tower stages by herself at some point, so I would line up 3 other low level champions behind her, search for where I would get the most XP after each battle and when I found it, hit repeat again, and again, and again, day in - day out.
I would also see how much time a stage took me to complete, and when I was lower level I used tower 10 - stage 4 for this grind, and later in hard mode, tower 12 - stage 6 where my champions were earning 11.8k XP each.
Some daily tasks have to be done to earn the energy refills like playing 5 times in the arena and the 60 minutes play time every day for another energy refill, which was quite easy because I would let my phone grind to the battles on auto mode when I was playing Splinterlands or watch TV, and just press 'replay' every time.
Other things like Faction wars I tried but I don't think you level up with this so I stopped with it, same as the dungeons, it's nice to earn the items to level up your champions but for this short term 'get as fast as you can to level 45 so you can stop', it's not worth the time.
Since this was my first FreeCash game, I wasn't even sure it would be possible to get to the higher rewards without spending money in the game, the first really nice reward for me was to reach level 40 within 30 days for the $30 reward - I was able to do this at day 19, and I don't think I could have done this much faster than this.
Being able to do this with 11 days left, this would certainly increase my chances of reaching level 45 within 50 days for the $60 reward! But I was still a but cautious not to get too excited for this, when I was a Pokemon GO player, the first 35 levels was possible to get to pretty fast, but the way from 35 to 40 took really, really long!
With a 'head start' because I finished my first milestone really fast, I was dedicated to push on to level 45, but before, I was able to do at least one level every day, after level 40 some days it would take me two or three days for one level.
The daily login 500 energy refill rewards helped a lot though and also the fact that I leveled up my red gem mine twice, so it was earning me more gems every day. 40 gems is another energy refill, so keep on grinding!
thing started to become really repetitive at this point without anything new to discover, and I know that's totally my own fault because this game is so much more than a quick 6 week grind, sorry - I'm just here for the money!
And then yesterday, I was done, I reached level 45 on day 27 for that nice phat $60 reward! ๐
Well, the message is in Dutch but it confirms my reward! ๐
All game earnings combined, I earned $98.14 !
Too bad rewards payout have a 14 day delay but it is what it is, I'll wait!
I can make my first payout in 6 days, which will be around $35.
I hope you like my post and all the info in it, and when you're going to test this, don't give up before you reach the $20 to get to advanced mode, and pretty please use my referral link to sign up ๐ and be sure to let me know when you do and how this is going for you!
All this grinding is to further fund my Splinterlands addiction ๐ with my first payout, as mentioned in my first post I will try and buy Venka the Vile, hopefully no one snatches the cheap ones from the market but that damn waiting time for payout keep me from doing this already.
A new set is about to launch for Splinterlands soon, which will mark the beginning of a new era so I'm really excited for that.
With my second payout I will participate in the pre-sale starting on April 22 to get that nice Promo card by spending 40k DEC.
When you're interested about Splinterlands but you're not a player yet, let me know and I'll answer any questions you might have!
Man glad to see another soul use Freecash! I dont do the games offer though, mostly surveys and other app download.
Is the game really worth it in ypur opinion or do you need to enjoy mobile gaming?
I'm no mobile gamer at all but I don't mind some grinding for that amount of money ๐
Ah so you think the reward is worth it. Maybe should try it then
Offer looks fantastic, and I'm already loving Raid--it's one of my favorites! ๐ฎ๐ But alas, offers like these are usually just for new players. Since I'm already deep in the game, that prolly makes me unqualified.
Would love to join using your ref but I already have a FreeCash. And I rarely use, because all the surveys and the games on offer are more or less the same as in other earning sites.
Really nice post! i'm register for get the first 5$ but get nothing :( is a shame that only work with apps :(
Thank you!
You will get that first $5 on your payout when you earned some more, surveys get unlocked when you cross $20 earned.
I don't usually play games to earn money just for fun, but not to mention RAID Shadow Legends is an awesome game indeed the time and experience you have in this game is very exciting. Nice to see someone who also play this kind of games keep it up! Also do you also have the new characters like LOKI and ALICE? I heard they look cool.
Yes I earned Alice with the daily logins, there's a picture of her in my post actually, she's awesome
My bad but I might try to copy your Items for her if that's okay? It looks stronger than my current build I ended up using Lifesteal set for everyone!๐คฃ

I was wondering if they have paid out to you?
as you read a lot of negative feedback online about freecash suddenly suspending their accounts as soon as a withdraw is submitted.
I already received $30, payout directly to my hive account ๐
2 more days for the $60 because there is a two-week delay between earning and payout
edit:
Proof of payout
Great to hear!
I was a bit suspicious because all the messages I read online about the platform..
