Today is a very special day for me. Those who play Splinterlands know how exciting it is to add a new powerful card to your deck. I had been browsing the market for a long time, had my eye on certain cards, but the budget didn't match. Finally, after much speculation and waiting, today the great moment has come. Today I added two great cards to my collection— Warborn Shaman and Barashkukor.
I would call this a pretty big investment for me. Considering the combined price of the two cards and their functionality, it is going to make a big difference in my gameplay. Today, I will share with you why I bought both these cards and what their special features are.

First, let's talk about the Warborn Shaman card. This is a dual-element (Water and Death) card, which is a 10 Mana card. When I was looking at the card in the market, I liked its artwork at first. But I don't buy cards just for the art; my main focus was on their attacking system.

)Its current market price is around $4.80 to $5.20. I bought it for around $4.80. At level 1, it has Magic Attack 3, Speed 2, and Health 6. But what attracted me the most was its "Impede" ability. The function of this ability is that after each successful attack, it reduces the enemy's Speed by 1. In high mana battles, when the opponent has high-speed monsters, this card can be a game-changer to slow them down. Moreover, its 4 armour will also give it some protection from physical attacks. Even though it costs 10 mana, its 3 magic damage will directly hit health, which is very effective againstarmouredd tanks.

The second card I bought is Barashkukor. Honestly, I have been dreaming of buying this card for a long time. It is a Legendary card of the Death Unit. Its price is also a bit high; I had to pay about $10.00 for it. But believe me, if you look at its stats, you will agree that this price is worth it.

)This 13 mana card is basically perfect for high mana battles. Its most terrifying aspect is its magic attack. At level 1, it deals 5 magic damage! Can you imagine? In Splinterlands, 5 magic damage means directly reducing 5 health by piercing the armour of the enemy tank. Its speed is 3, and its health is 6. Although its armour is only 2, when used in the backline, it is capable of crushing the opponent's defence single-handedly. For a long time, I was looking for a "heavy hitter" that could knock out the opponent with one blow. Barashkukor will fill that gap.

Buying these two cards was a big challenge for me. Investing the equivalent of about $15 (which is a pretty good amount in Bangladeshi taka) in cryptocurrency or in-game tokens is not a small thing. But I am seriously focusing on the game. I noticed that whenever the High Mana ruleset comes, I lack strong cards in my hand. Especially in teams that rely on magic attacks.
Warborn Shaman and Barashkukor—both are magic attackers. One will slow down the enemy and weaken them, while the other will give the finishing touch with its massive 5 damage. I made this investment with this combination in mind.
After purchasing the cards from the market, when I saw them in my inventory, there was a sense of peace. It remains to be seen how much of a positive impact these cards, bought with hard-earned currency, will have on my battle history. I am sure that these cards will help me climb the leaderboards in the coming seasons.
Friends, what do you think of these two cards for those of you who play Splinterlands? Do you have them in your collection? Let me know in the comments. That's all for today, see you on the battlefield!
