Adventures in NMS : A Monstrous Pattern

Today, I decided to continue my adventure in No Man's Sky universe. I've been playing for 105 hours, and I still feel new to the game. There is a lot of mystery to me in the game.

I called up the Anomaly and decided to do a quicksilver mission for a while. For today's mission, I was required to kill 48 monstrosities for 400 quicksilver and 3 x repair kits. I know what the quicksilver is for, but I don't know what is the use of the repair kits is.

After I accepted the mission from the Nexus, I started my starship and was ready to leave the Anomaly. The mission should be done on the nearest planet, I hope so.

My guess was right, the mission is located on the nearest planet, a planet where I want to build my base. Who doesn't like Paradise Planet to be their home. I discovered three Paradise Planet so far, and I like this planet the most. Blue oceans, green grass with brown soils, that's what I like about this planet.

I landed my starship on a safe place, then I saw a purple tree which caught my attention.

This is the tree that I am talking about. Purple leaf, and grey log. For me it's just unique with it's own way.

I activated my target sweep from the analysis visor and followed the directions that were shown on the screen. The mission was located somewhere 500 u from my landing area and I need to cross the sea to reach there.

I finally reached the mission's location. There was an abandoned building, and lots of alien eggs were spreading around the building. Then, I approached the building.

It's the whispering eggs. I made my pose, gave it a thumbs up, and took the screenshots.

When I shot the whispering eggs using my laser, a bunch of creature crawling out from underneath the ground. They don't like to be disturbed, so they started to attack me, want me dead.

After defeating the required number of monstrosites, I was ordered to get inside the building to locate the secondary location of the infestation.

It's dark inside the building. There were broken wires and an unknown creature, ready to attack me, stuck to the ceiling. It seems like a poisonous creature.

I downloaded the secondary location of the infestation from the computer inside the building, then, I called up my starship, and ready to move to the next location.

It took me around 20 seconds to reach the secondary location. I can see the building from up here. I am sure that it was the same type of building that I went to earlier. It's an abandoned building on an abandoned island.

It turned into a night scene when I landed. I looked at the whispering eggs and remembered the early hour when I came across this egg. I wow so much, and thriving harder in order to survive from the monstrous. But now, I have better multitools, better upgrades, it feel so much easier to kill it.

Their eyes glow at night. What a scary looking creature!

After 15 monstrous killed by me, I went inside the building to locate the final location of the monstrous pattern mission. The grimy terminal flickers to life as I approached.

There was a learning device, called encyclopedia, inside the building. I can learn 1 word of alien language from the device.

When I am about to leave, there was this creature walking slowly near my starship, so I took a picture of it. Then, I scans the creature. It's called X. Bladoresia, male, skittish, eat mordite roots, weight 104.9 kg, height 1.4m. Another weird detail was stomach inside skull. This creature produce wild milk>

This time, I travel through the dark night. I can see planets visible in the sky during the night. It's a stunning view.

It took me about 25 seconds to reach the final place using my starship. I can't imagine travelling on foot. It could take hours of walking to reach here.

When I landed successfully, I found this unique creature walking around. It's called K. Warlouaxea. Age mature, unknown gender, high observant, like to eat Star Bramble, 73.8 kg and 1.6 m. It produce fresh milk.

Whispering eggs were easy to find around the abandoned building. When I found one, I sat on the floor and started taking pictures of it.

I need to kill 25 of these monstrosites.

When I reached 20 kills, I stopped and summoned my biggest companions from my inventory. I want to see if the pet can kill the monstrosites. I saw once, this dinosaur kill 1 monstrous, then after that, Dino moved into the water and dove in. It was an unbelievable act of Dino.

I tried my other companion, and it was too bad. Not just that it didn't attack the monstrous, but it scared my companion so much that he shit himself.

Morning rise, I got 2 more monstrosites to kill. I have so much fun during the night watching my poor companion fight for their lives. I can see from a distance, starships were passing by where I stand.

Before leaving, I took some pictures near the last abandoned building.

There was a floating island not far from here.

I summoned my companion, who can fly. This is as high as it can go.

As if we were racing, and I am leading the race. The butterfly was left far behind.

Then I flew back to Anomaly. It's a stunning view of clouds far above the sky.

I pulse jump to fly faster, reaching the Anomaly. I was totally forget that I can summon the Anomaly wherever I want on the space, and I forget that I can do that! haha!
