Splinterlands - Pizza Guild Brawl Report
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and Midnight Letters community! I will share our recent brawl guild performance today. Thanks to all our guild players who joined in our recent brawl games. Pizza A Slice of Madness was in third place. I struggled in this brawl due to our opponents forbidding the use of Quora who is my best card. I only scored four points out of nine games.
Overall Guild Rank: Third Place
We took third place with 99 wins and 45 losses. That gave our guild a prize of 74 crowns!
Personal Brawl Performance and Selected Games
I struggled in this brawl due to our opponents forbidding the use of my strongest card, Quora Towershead. I still scored four points in nine games to contribute to our games. I'm near the bottom of the performers in the guild. It's nice to earn rewards again since my old guild stopped playing brawls.
Battle 1
In an all Water element game, I chose Isgald Vorst gladiator card. Isgald is one of the cards that's easy to use in games. He needs just five mana and has good stats. He has two attack, three shields, four life and three speed. What makes him good is the opportunity skill. I included him in the Water team I frequently use. The usual units are there with Isgald taking the spot of Water Logged Wizard.
My opponent also chose Water but because the game was only limited to forty three mana, we both don't have Great Bear Druid in the line up. I used Port Guardian while he used Asel Alagosdil. The game was close because there was an Earthquake ruleset. At one point I ended up with just one unit remaining, Isgald Vorst but because he has Bloodlust skill that adds to his stats, it helped preserved his life and I ended up winning.

Battle 2
This is the only game where I was allowed to use Quora. Even though healing was disabled and Quora doesn't have one of her skills, she is still strong with her two attacks of magic and melee. My opponent had Katrelba for gladiator card. It's also strong doing two attacks per round. Good thing the opponent's gladiator card didn't activate her bloodlust skill. My Quora got eliminated because she can't heal. The rest of my team did the finishing job and won the game.

Spending the Rewards
I bought two gladiator packs with my rewards. It included an epic Water card. I also upgraded one of my cards to two.
My gladiator cards is growing. With continuous brawls, I'm sure they will get stronger soon.
Quora Towershead
My strongest card. I win most games when I'm allowed to use her. But our opponents use tactics to prevent her use. So in case that I'm fighting against Quora I always lose the game.
Katrelba Gobson
She has two melee attacks and have Double Strike and Sneak skills. She is the second best card in my Earth team.
Edith Emberstar
She is my new card and I like to try her in next brawl. She has four archer attack, seven life and three speed. She's a great addition to my Water element team.
Isgald Vorst
He has two melee attack, three shields, four life and three speed. In my last game, her shield helped her survive the Earthquake damage. She is my second best card after Edith in Water.
My other cards are satisfactory but not as good as the above four. The Earth team has good cards like Bertrol Gobson and Cutter Brieze, both have only low mana. Water has other good cards too like Alfredo and Alva the Crusher. I don't have legendary cards yet and I hope to get them after the next brawls.
Conclusion
It's nice to be joining brawls and earning guild rewards again. I really appreciate my guild for taking me in. I try to do my part by buying more cards and making my team stronger.
