Greetings to all Splinterlands players and Midnight Letters community! This is my entry to this week's Community Engagement Challenge. The topic for this week is Arena Architect. In today's post I'll show my team, their synergies and powerplay, lastly I will show games where I used the teams.

Water Element
A team of Water element is mostly used in the Frontier Format of the game. This is because the card pool is much smaller in the Frontier than in Modern or Wild. This is why Water element decks tend to be strong especially in the early leagues when climbing the ranks. Magic attacks are strong because they cannot be avoided or blocked with armor. Further, the Water archon boosts magic attacks with +1. This includes the neutral units Great Bear Druid and Lunaki Howler adding to the limited card pool choices. Water also has strong cards like Saltwater Mage with 2 magic attack and Mystic Scaleweaver with 3 magic attack. There's also a magic unit tank Great Bear Druid that players combo with other Water units. The strength of Water magic is further emphasized with lack of counter abilities to magic attacks like Phase, Void and Void Armor. All of these reasons make magic the meta in the Frontier Format.

My Team Members
The team members I choose depends on the available mana in the game. I have several team compositions based on the available mana. The strategy is going for maximum damage while keeping the tank position strong so that the attackers will not be damaged by the opponent. In all games, I make sure that Mystic Scaleweaver has a slot. I upgraded it to level two and is my highest attacker. I usually place it in last position to avoid being attacked.

Battles
Battle 1: High Mana

For high mana games, there is no problem since I can put all the necessary cards and use all the slots.
Port Guardian is the tank in first position. He is an ideal tank that has seven life.
Great Bear Druid is in second position. He can also be in first in lower mana games.
Saltwater Mage has 3 magic attack and one of my strong attackers.
Lunaki Howler has 2 magic attack and also one of the attackers in this team.
Water Logged Wizard has the same attack as Lunaki Howler.
Mystic Scaleweaver is the strongest attacker with four magic attack. I try to preserve it as long as it can.
The team is usually successful in my games. I still lose against stronger teams like with a level 2 A'lan Musketeer. It's a strong legendary card that can also be added in my team.

Low Mana

As for games with lower mana, I change the line up and keep Mystic Scaleweaver in the team. It's important that she has a slot since she is the highest attacker. I keep Lunaki Howler and Water Logged Wizard and leave Saltwater Mage out. I replace Great Bear Druid who has nine mana with two cards that has a total of nine mana. Taking the place of Great Bear Druid are Asel Alagosdil and Colossus Raider. Asel Alagosdil is a sufficient low mana tank. She can survive a few attacks and prevent my attackers from getting hit. Colossus Raider can attack with two melee from second position having Reach skill. These two are my combo in low mana games. I still place Mystic Scaleweaver in last position in the hope that it will not get attacked.

Conclusion
The Water element team is very flexible. I can use them in high or low mana games. This is on the condition that the ruleset allows magic units. If the ruleset is Counterspell or Lost Magic then I would consider other elements.

Excellent analysis of the Water Element in Frontier! You're absolutely right; in a format with a limited card pool and fewer Void or Phases, the Magic Spam strategy with the Summoner's Bonus From the summoner He is almost unbeatable in the lower leagues.
