Greetings to all Splinterlands players and gaming community! Today is another report about our guild's most recent brawl. Pizza A Slice of Madness finished in sixth place this week. I did not win as many games this week compared to the last and had a middling performance.

Overall Guild Rank: Sixth Place

We finished with in sixth place, ranking lower compared to last week. We won 72 games and lost forty five and earned 55 crowns. It was a wide margin compared to fifth placer who won ninety five games.

Personal Brawl Performance and Selected Games

I won five games and lost two which landed me in eight place in our guild contribution. I did worse compared to last week, losing games when I had the advantage in units.

Battle 1

One of my favorite games because I felt that I outplayed my opponent. He had higher level cards and the stronger gladiator card but I still managed to win the game. I focused my attack on the frontline and avoided any sneak, snipe or opportunity attacks. My tank was Port Guardian, not really a strong tank. I just hope it doesn't die quickly. My gladiator card has a strong attack of four. Not as strong as the enemy's Quora but good enough to work with my other attacker. My next two cards are magic units that I typically use in the Frontier. Lunaki Howler and Mystic Scaleweaver are my magic attackers.
My opponent have strong individual cards. Dread Tafarian is maybe the best tank in the Frontier with his healing ability. Quora is a strong card that also has healing. He also has a legendary Giam Root in his team. My tank was able to fend of the opponent's attacks for a while and was luckily defeated by other units and not Quora. I was afraid of her bloodlust ability that will add to her stats. My attackers were able to defeat the enemy units. When Quora was defeated, it was a guaranteed victory for my team.

Battle 2

The next battle had a different rule but funny enough, I had the same team as last time. The team is great in terms of frontline attacks and able to defeat the opponent front line quickly. My opponent also had Water but didn't use the usual magic units like Mystic Scaleweaver and Saltwater Mage. His gladiator card is a legendary Flagulon Reine. It has two magic attack and Burst skill. My team was tried and tested and performed much better in this game against lower life opponents.

Battle 3

The next game left me with little choice due to limited mana of 14. I still chose Water with no magic unit. I put Asel Alagosdil for the tank and a gladiator card attacker. Isgald Vorst was my attacker. It's a melee unit with opportunity skill. It has two melee attack. My opponent also had a four mana and five mana unit combo. His first card was Spellmonger that has Thorns. Good thing that his attacker has lower life than Spellmonger and was targetted by Isgald first. I would lose if Isgald attacked Spellmonger and will be hit by thorns skill.

Spending the Rewards

I bought two gladiator packs and I can say that I'm not thrilled with the cards I got. I already have these cards and no new cards showed up.

Conclusion
We earned 3056 Merits and 18 SPS from the brawl. It's still lower than last week's rewards but it's good enough to increase my card holdings and staked SPS. I'm grateful to my guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn guild rewards.
