Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards and we play in the weekly guild brawls. Here is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Third Place
This brawl was a huge win for our guild. We made it to third place, having a higher win rate ratio compared to our opponents. Our 92 wins against only 20 losses shows a big win loss ratio. Compare that to the second place who had 98 wins against 46 losses or against the distant fourth place with 61 wins and 43 losses. Only the first place guild, New Bot Order had a better win loss ratio compared to us.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I'm proud to contribute well in our efforts. I only lost one game against seven wins. There were other members who performed similarly, landing us in fourth to eight place performers in our guild. While others performed better with no losses at all. It speaks well of our guild to have such good players.
Selected Games
Here I present some of the games that I won.
Game 1
This was an easy game to win. Although there was the Briar Patch modifier, I still used Quora. She will suffer from Thorns damage but I thought her healing will recover her health. I followed her with magic and archers. A'lan Musketeer is specially strong here with attacking twice every round. My opponent chose a magic team but my team took home the victory.

Game 2
The next game is another Briar Patch modifier with only eighteen mana. This time I didn't use melee cards. Instead, I used magic and archer for my attackers. My opponent also chose magic and he had a legendary gladiator card on his side. I hope to get this card someday. It has a Blast ability that's generally strong. He would have had the advantage if not for my Water Logged Wizard who neutralized Blast with Deflect.

Game 3
This game had Noxious Fumes modifier and from my opponent's line up, he should have won. He had Quora who has healing and anti poison Time Bandit. My advantage in numbers and high attack gave me enough fire power to defeat my opponent.

Game 4
Game four had Shades of Gray modifier. I used Water with two magic attackers. A'lan Musketeer once again gave me the advantage with his superior attacking power. My opponent chose to play defensive with New Beluroc Aegis but he got defeated easily.

Spending the Rewards
I bought two gladiator packs but still can't find any legendary cards. The best I got was one epic card that I already have. I hope one day to add those legendary cards in my line up.
Conclusion
We earned 3,550 merits and 33 SPS from the brawl. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn guild rewards.
