Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we compete with other guilds. Here is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Fourth Place
We were in fourth place this week, missing third place by five wins. We had ninety five wins and thirty one losses. Compared to the placer, THGaming Brawlers Guild, they have five more wins than us but had thirty one more losses. It shows that our win loss ratio is high but we are joining less frays.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I'm tied at ninth to twelfth place in the top performers in our guild. I won six while giving up three losses.
Selected Games
Here I present a couple of the games that I won.
Game 1
The first game saw me and my opponent fighting with the Life element. My first unit was Twice Yester Knight, it does a great job in tanking attacks. I followed it with my choses gladiator card. It's an epic card with four attack. Next card has two attack. It's sneak skill will not work in the battle modifier but that's fine. He can still attack the opponent's first unit. Next is a magic card with two attacks. My best attacking card is next. A'lan Musketeer is a range card with Double Strike skill. He does four attack in total each round. Finally, my last card was New Beluroc Aegis. It cannot attack from last position. It's role is to draw attacks from my opponent.
My opponent had a predominantly magic team. His first card is worse than mine. I think it's not supposed to be tank but that was what my opponent chose. In last position he also had New Beluroc Aegis. His advantage was the use of shield. Magic attacks go through shields but my attacks were stronger. His magic attacks were only one except for his gladiator that had three attack. My attacks were two or more and offset his advantage.

Game 2
The next game we had similar elements again. This time it's water. My cards were stronger having both Saltwater Mage and Mystic Scaleweaver. I also had the better tank while my opponent only used cards from the campaign.

Spending the Rewards
I bought two gladiator chests and only commons and rares were there. I'm still waiting to get a legendary card so I hope I get lucky soon.
There are two common cards that can be upgraded to level three. It's a consolation for not getting any good cards.
Conclusion
We earned 4,333 merits and 24 SPS from the brawl. We got more merits but less SPS compared to last week's rewards. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
