Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we compete with other guilds. Here is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: Second Place
We landed in second place this week from last week's first place. The first place guild, The Arch-Mage Mastermind had nine more wins compared to our 114 wins but still within striking distance. We still maintained our high performance in our group.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I did poorly this week. I had five wins against four losses and at the bottom of our guild's performers. My guildmates picked up the slack this week so I had to do better next week and contribute well to our battles.
Selected Games
Here I present a couple of the games that I won.
Game 1
I chose Water in this battle and Relenor Cleaver gladiator card. It's not a card I mostly use but I wanted to experiment with different combinations which is probably why I did poorly in this brawl. Instead of my usual line ups, I tried others. Some combinations like this worked and others were not.
Relenor is a melee card with reach skill. I put him in second position next to Beluroc Aegis. The next cards were magic and range attackers. My opponent chose Earth with Katrelba Gobson gladiator. I ended up winning this one.

Game 2
The game had Shades of Grey modifier and we had almost the same cards as my opponent. The only difference was he used more melee cards while I used more archers. We both had a card with thorns skill that killed melee. I think this gave me the advantage in this game.

Spending the Rewards
My luck is non existent when it comes to gladiator cards. I bought two packs and only got common and rare cards.
Conclusion
We earned 4,389 merits and 34 SPS from the brawl. They're generous rewards that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
