Here, I’m going to tell you everything you need to start off on the right foot, without complications and, most importantly, without losing your valuable NEON along the way.

Neon Strike isn’t just another run-of-the-mill crypto game. Here, every decision matters, from the NFT you choose at the beginning to how you manage your resources. Imagine a futuristic world where your characters, represented as NFTs, embark on missions to earn rewards. But be careful, it’s not as simple as sending them to fight and waiting. You’ll need to repair them, level them up, and, if you’re smart, fuse them to create more advanced characters.

What You Need to Get Started

Before diving in headfirst, there are a couple of things you need to have ready. First, you’ll need an account on HIVE. If you don’t have one yet, don’t worry, it’s not complicated, and there are quick tutorials to guide you step by step.

Once you’re set up, the next step is to get your first NFT and game access.

This is where Starter Packs come in. These grant you game access, and they differ in the number and rarity of NFTs they provide. The key point is that they include game access, without it, you won’t be able to send your characters on missions, even if you already have NFTs in your inventory.

If you just want to try the game, the Mini pack is enough. But if you want a stronger start, the Boosted pack might be a better investment. With it, you’ll get two more powerful NFTs right away, meaning better rewards from day one.

Finally, remember that if you need more NFTs for your missions, you can purchase them directly in the store, you can buy either the Normal Box (1 Basic Ticket) or the Boosted Box (1 Boosted Ticket). Unless you're specifically looking for a particular NFT and prefer to check the Market, where you'll also find NFTs for sale from other users. However, if those options aren't enough, you can also find some special offers in the nft-market channel of Midnight Studio's Discord server.

How to Start Playing

Once you have your NFT, it's time to put it to work. First, enter the game by logging in and then clicking "Play". Next, go to the Missions section. Here you'll see several options, each with its own requirements and rewards. The most basic one, District Exploration, costs nothing and is perfect for beginners. You just need to click the "Equipped NFTs" button in the top right corner and select (by clicking) the NFT you want to send on a mission. After selecting it, you must immediately choose the mission you want to send it on by pressing the purple "Start Mission" button for the desired mission.

Missions last 12 hours, so you don't need to be checking constantly. But be careful: each time you complete one, your NFT takes 25% damage. If you let it reach 100%, it won't be able to go on more missions until you repair it.

While your NFTs complete missions, they gain experience. Leveling up is key because it increases their power, which translates to better rewards. Each level requires more experience, so at first you'll level up quickly, but later you'll need to be more strategic.

• Take advantage of missions that give more experience: For example, Experience Contract and Experience Rush are ideal for leveling up quickly. If you want to strengthen your NFTs in a short time, these are your best options.

• Merging is powerful, but don't do it recklessly: When you merge two NFTs, the result loses all its experience and starts over. So try to merge NFTs right after they've leveled up to make the fusion worthwhile. Also, remember that the final level will be an average between both, try to make the sum of their levels an odd number so the final level rounds up.

• You can only have 4 NFTs equipped at a time. The rest will be in your inventory, contributing points to the ranking, but they won't be able to go on missions. So choose wisely which ones to take with you.
