My Review on week 35.

Some people say music is life; I'm not here to argue about that, though. Music saved my life when I found myself in different moods, and when I started listening to a song that resonated with my feelings at that moment, I would find my mood lifted up, and immediately, I'd feel light like a paper.

Music is like my go-to medicine in certain situations, and you know the good thing is that it doesn't fail; it always comes through for me, and I'm grateful for that.

Back to why I'm here again:

This week ran so fast that I couldn't keep track of it; maybe I was driven away by the breeze with the amazing entries that I witnessed this week 35.

All the entries were mind-blowing, and I love the fact that everyone's entries stayed true to their performance. But then one thing is always gonna be different and that is "the one particular entry that grabbed my attention".

@midemercy sang my old and all-time favorite song. When I first heard this song, it was in a dancing competition I went to, well don't wonder too much because I wasn't among the contestants. I went there with a friend whose sister was contesting.

In the process of cheering and screaming our lungs out, this song popped up, and immediately, the lyrics resonated with me. I couldn't resist but just close my eyes as I felt every word and the rhythm in my soul. After that moment, I knew I needed that song, so I ran to Google Chrome and did the needful. Since then, this song has been on my Playlist, refreshing my soul.

@midemercy did an incredible with the song. I love the fact that she sang directly and like she owned the song. Her voice was so lovely that I kept my mouth open waiting for her to utter the next lines. The tone used was pleasant to my ears.

Her voice flowed effortlessly, and without a harness, I could see the calmness where those words were being mentioned. And then the extra melody that she added to the song did a whole thing for me.
