Reviving Memories Through Music: A Soulful Cover of *Perfect* by Kayor

Hey there, fam. I'm back yet again with another musical review for this week's entry. This week's theme is one to draw our minds back to an era when music was at its peak as regards lyrical composure. Songs from the early 2000s hit different.

I've been updating my playlist this week as I'm being reminded of beautiful pieces by amazing participants. Songs are an embodiment of lovely memories, and that's what this week is about—memories. I can't have enough. Can you? Nah, I doubt that.

I heard a cover by an artist, @kayor:

What more can I say? I mean, his voice and song choice brought life and re-birthed memories—memories that have been long gone. Perfect by Ed Sheeran is a wonderful way to end this week. So amazing. At a point, I slowly succumbed to the lyrics while forfeiting my eyes to sleep.

His voice was made for this song—there's no denial about that. He conveyed raw, natural emotions that pierced deep into my heart and that of other listeners—I'm sure about this. I felt connected to the cover and was totally immersed in it that I had to replay it an unhealthy number of times. Well, what more do you expect from a perfectly crafted audition?

The riffs were smooth. He kind of played around with the song as though it were his—an attribute I love seeing in artists. Ed Sheeran must be really pleased right now. Music is art, and this man right here has just made this art seem more beautiful. He let his voice pass through the song, and the song pass through him.

I would rate him as my number one entry, not because he has a great voice with well-controlled riffs, but because he made the right song decision and immersed us in a flood of emotions. He recreated moments and sparked memories. Music is about the experience and memories, and this is exactly what he brought to the table.
