Hello Vibes Community!

I thought I'd miss out on sharing an entry for this week because I've been battling with cracked voice as I had cough and catarrh. The wait while I was treating it and hoping my voice will let me sing my song choice soon enough before deadline, was quite long and finally, I had to force the situation and do what I could with the voice.

Until this week's theme, I've never heard of the genre of music, EDM but from my research, I've listened to a lot of them without knowing they are music in that genre. I figured there are a lot of songs I love from this genre but I had to choose one that resonates with me and I could sing and dance to. I went from "Cascade" to "Alan Walker".

So I'm bringing to you, a cover of the song "Alone Pt II" by Alan Walker Ft Ava Max", it's an electropop song released in the year 2021. There is an "Alone" by Alan Walker that would have fit too but I'm choosing this one because it's one of the songs I play a lot, this is a chance to cover it.

The song was not an easy one for me as it was a bit above the song pitch I sing more comfortably but I appreciate how much I've learned from the process of making this cover. I know I didn't give my A-game to this entry, no thanks to catarrh and cough but I've learned better for future entries.

Before I say anything, I will come for that wig. It looks expensive. It should be able to carry me for weeks.

I love how you started your song with one voice and then went on into parting. It was beautiful. I was singing along and I keep wondering how a duet will sound. Then what you did in the ending part, where you backed yourself up, was exceptional.

I remember when I use to play this song back then, it was always on repeat! I always love listening to this song and I must say I’m like you because I didn’t even know what genre it was, lol.

And back to your performance! Wow, well done for real! I have tried singing this song so I know how hard it is. 🤲🥰

It was the intro for me at first. But later when I get to start listening to the voice got me go get a chair 🪑.

Heyoo, Merit. Thank God cough and catarrh didn’t stop you from singing this song. I used to enjoy listening to this song. I listened to it so much that I got tired of it.
