A review of vibes web3 music competition week 29

It's another beautiful week on the Vibes Web3 music competition—Week 29. We're coming to the close of this week's entry, and yes, it's been an amazing drive so far. I've seen performances by various artists. I've seen different concepts from different artists who strive their best to bring forth the best to the table.

I love this week's theme, as it revolves around emotions. It's not the regular 21st-century hip-hop songs we see today. It's a genre of music that can't be replaced by modern society. I'm indeed glad such a theme was chosen because sometimes, we just need to reflect on what life is. Reflection is necessary, and it's what this week's theme brings to our table.

I can't lie—I'm impressed so far with what my eyes have seen. The voices are just as amazing as the numerous faces we've been seeing in this community. Amongst the various entries, I came across a certain entry that swept me off my feet.

It's an entry by an artist who goes by the username @ellacentric.

Now, this artist displayed great vocal control, maintaining balance all through without going off at any point. It's a really difficult thing to do, especially with a song as complex as hers. If you think you can do better, hop on this same song, and only then would we know how truly difficult it is.

She also displayed emotions, allowing us to feel every word that proceeded from her mouth. Many can sing, but few can perform. For me, it was more than a song—it was an act. Performance isn't necessarily about swaying your head, crying, or jumping around. Nope, it's a whole lot more than that. For me, it's about creating an atmosphere where the audience can connect with both the singer and the song.

I must actually confess that it was a great performance by this artist. Her runs were pretty smooth by the way—I loved it.

Well, I do look forward to seeing the results of this week in the coming few days. I mean, out of all the amazing entries, only one artist will win. That's crazy.
