Welcome to the Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 31, a community where music and talent thrive. It's a week that draws us back to an age where music had good lyrics—an age where it felt so different from the music we encounter in this era.

I scrolled down the videos in this community in a quest to please my ears and warm my heart. I watched entries, a lot of them... I saw artists with different styles and vibes. This was a pleasure to watch because it comes with this inexplicable refreshment on the inside.

I must confess, participants put in their effort in making good music and good video quality, and that's why I commend everyone who joined this week's contest. Amongst the participants, a certain entry caught my attention, fixing my ears to my screen while the subtle voice permeated my heart through my ears.

It was none other than @meyateingi

with a song combination from Tems and Sia. This was really creative, if I'm to be honest. It's like taking two different songs with different genres and molding them into a certain genre that suits your voice while adding your own style, concept, and life to it. For a moment, I had no idea it was a mashup, but when I read through the short write-up attached to the entry, I discovered it was actually a mashup including two different songs. She did exceptionally great, slowing down the pace of the song to a charming, soulful, and subtle melody that reaches for the heart, sparking a wave of emotions in us, the audience. This is the definition of creativity—a great way to detect an exceptionally good artist.

Her vocal control was also something else. From the beginning to the end, she had control of her voice. She owned this song, as a matter of fact, and that's a great way to lay out a presentation to the public. She's definitely in the top six entries for me. I mean, what more are we looking for if not creativity and talent?? Because this artist here did just that.

I really look forward to seeing her name glowing in the end when a decision has been made on this week's participants.

It's the end of the week as usual, and well, what more can we do than wait, observe, and prepare to vote!!
