It's the vibes web3 music contest, and there's no better way to start off this week than with a song from the '90s.
A perfect theme, right?
For some days, I've observed participants put in their all to ensure maximum creativity in this week's Vibes music competition. At least, I saw a whole lot of entries last week and I'm seeing potential with great entries this week.
I've been surfing through the community for quite some hours now, and I must say that my ears have been buzzing with the reverberating melody contestants have to offer.

Let's not forget that this week, we're seeing songs from the '90s—a great way to start off the week indeed.
There's something really spectacular about this theme, as it addresses different aspects of our lives, rekindling memories that have been within our minds.
There's nothing like the good old days, don't you think? Days when life with music was much more beautiful—It still is but there's a void, an inexplicable one.
Well, overall, I do love songs from the '90s, don't you? They purge our souls of negative emotions, breathing life into our nostrils. Perhaps it's the reason why I've been wearing a smile on my face while watching contestants bring different concepts to the table.
Particularly this week, I encountered two artists that caught my attention for certain reasons. I felt their presence, and it was quite touching to my soul. I somehow felt this inner peace within, and I think everyone should feel something similar—not the same, as we all have different experiences in life.
Let's dive into it, shall we?
The first artist that really caught my attention is
@moses08 with his heartfelt, emotive entry: unbreak my heart
This song triggered an emotional connection I had with certain people in the past. They say the past, though gone, is still a great aspect of our lives, and that's what this song does. It brings back certain memories, unboxing them into our very present.
The artist does well to express himself, as I find myself connecting with his voice. It was as though he spoke to me, and I could understand the coded words behind every utterance of his.
The setting was quite great—the lights, the environment, and yeah, the ambiance, of course. It was like watching a live show on The X Factor or an audition on America's Got Talent.
Music is life, they say, and Vibes, Week 29 seems like one that'll give us just that.
Of course, my attention was then drawn to another stunning artist:
@eugelys with an amazing song entry:
I loved this entry for some reason that I can't really fathom. I'm not Spanish, neither do I understand Spanish, but somehow I feel like I can understand its lyrics—crazy, right? That's just how powerful music is—it's a universal language, you know.
The artist's flow felt natural and convincing. Her voice added an amazing spark to the presentation as a whole. I somehow wish I could speak Spanish after listening to this piece.
Language is indeed beautiful, and that's probably why this song wields the power to connect two different people from different cultural backgrounds. If you didn't feel it, I definitely did.
There are a lot of entries I would love to jump on, but I guess that'll be some other time.
Yes! Keep them coming—the entries. Lest you forget, it's the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, a place where art and talent thrive, and this week is here to show you just that.
