The Opportunity Behind Fear

I was and ma scared to do new things in my life. Before, I like my life a routine with some work to do, free time, and such. But that didn't last long since I have financial problem and I have to do something to evaluate myself.

Last 2024, I took the risk on my own to apply for a job in a corporate world. Well, one of my aunt message me about the job opening in one of the corporate job in another town. I asked my aunt about it and I hesitated at first because I don't have any prior knowledge for the job posted in that corporate job.

I asks some of my friends and my families about the situation, I laid out the things that I like and don't like about the opened job posted. Well, I hesitated and told them that it was too risky for myself and I only have a few to no knowledge at all.

As I talk about the situation of my family, well, I don't have a choice and I also asks my friend about it for the job opening and such. We talked for several hours just to convince me on applying for that job. Days passed and I didn't show up in that company but my aunt keep insisting me on going to the company itself and give the resume that they needed for me to pass so that the HR will get and contact me directly if they want to hire me.

As I told my family especially my wife about the situation that I am applying for a corporate world job but it's in another town, although, she didn't say anything but I know that she will be sad since our house is far away from my work.

We don't have a choice anymore because of some problems as I took the risks in applying and accepting the job offer by that company. At first, I was struggling to adjust the time management as I knew that I am always late for waking up since my work before started in the evening but the corporate world work started as early as seven in the morning

So, yeah, I learnt many things about the job and gained new knowledge as I work there. I thought that my work will be wasted while working there but it turned out that I gained a lot of knowledge while I was working and gave me confidence in things that I didn't do before getting in the corporate world.
