Secondhand Fridge, Secondhand Trouble
We had a refrigerator before and it was way older than myself and I think we changed our refrigerator after I got work and I changed it because the old refrigerator's cold is not that cold as it was before.
If I remember it correctly, the old refrigerator was maybe around 20 years and we were still using it at that time but it was still working fine.
While I was finding a second hand refrigerator, one of my friends who is also working at home said that she has a refrigerator that she will sell from their home because they're not using their house anymore since their house is far away from the place that she worked and it's been a few months since they didn't went to their home since she told me that she will be staying at her mom's house that is near to her work.
I decided on buying her refrigerator because she said that she bought that a year ago. I was interested since I will get a discounted price for the refrigerator. We got that refrigerator after a couple of days and we put it on where we put our old refrigerator and also, we gave the old refrigerator to our relatives that doesn't have refrigerator. After a couple of months, the refrigerator's freezer is not as cold as before and it will also not freeze.
We asked to the one who sells it about what happened to the refrigerator and she said that when they had that refrigerator it worked really well. We were wondering as to where the problem is.
We tried to stock the meat in the freezer because we will be cooking that on the next day but when it's time to cook the meat, it is a little bit smelly as the freezer didn't freeze the meat.
We realize that it's better to have the old refrigerator that we had than this new one because it is still working than this second hand refrigerator.
I was furious at that time because the second hand refrigerator that we had is not what I expected and I really decided to buy a new and fresh one for the refrigerator because I was disappointed on the second refrigerator that I bought.
So, I save money little by little and we, me and my dad, bought a new refrigerator in one of the famous appliances store in the other town and up until today, we are still using it.
Well, that was one of the worst experience that I got from buying a second hand product. I was devastated buying that second hand refrigerator and I sold it to half the price when I bought the refrigerator to one of my relatives.
After my relative bought it, she went to the repair shop to see if there's a problem with it and there was really a problem after that relative repaired the fridge into the repair shop and it was a freon fail of the fridge.
