Growth Hides in Insecurity

There is something that I pretend to understand but I actually don't and that is the English topic, some might say that I am good at English and stuffs but in reality, I am not and I am also no better than them.

Even if my work is related to English, but the topics that the English that I am working has lots of the, from level 0 students to a student that is working and talking about business and stuffs, even IELTS which is I really don't know much.

I pretended that I knew that topic because that's my line of work, but for over the years that I am working in this kind of job, I slowly understand some of the English basics and yeah, I now know some of them but there were some topics that I really don't know and just pretended that I knew it all along.

I always say that, yeah, that's correct even if I knew that there were some that were lacking in that grammar and stuffs, but yeah, I also research some of these but I cannot understand some of it.

Although, I admit that I am embarrassed by the fact that I actually don't know the topic that I discussed with my students, but I am doing my best on coping up with the topic.

Well, now, with the help with AI, I can easily navigate and know some of the basics and teach these students with the best possible way and with the correct answer that they had.

While in my first years of my work as an ESL, I was struggling to understand the higher level of topic in English but eventually, I learn some of it and I was glad to be in this field because I got to know more about some of the English topics.

I always rant to my sister, who is also in this field at that time, about the topics and such. Well, she listens to my rants and she would always say that I need to do my best to teach these students as most of my students were level 0 of English while teaching them the phonics and such.

My sister motivates me more even if I lack some of the knowledge in English but she motivates me to continue teaching that I will eventually learn over the years.
