A Family Christmas to Remember

Long ago and up until today, I've experience and celebrated Christmas not in other places or houses but only in our place which is our home..

There were many memories that I've experience before and until today. I've realized how lucky I am that I had a family to celebrate Christmas because not every family celebrate their Christmas (except for those religions that doesn't have Christmas).

Countless of times that we prepare something for Christmas and I'm really truly lucky for family because even if it's a small feasts that we will make during Christmas and the thought that we make or buy something (especially food) makes us (our family) a complete Christmas because we were complete in our family to celebrate the Christmas season.

Well, that was before where we had that kind of situation but now that we have different priorities and different kinds of situation like my mom was working abroad just to meet our ends (while we were studying and up until now) and my sister was working from home but far away in our place and etc..

It really hits different to celebrate with a missing family member. Well, I have now a family and they were the ones that gives me strength but it is also good to have a complete family aside from the family I had.

I think in this situation now, maybe, we will celebrate Christmas without my mom (since she is still working abroad) and also my sister (she is in Luzon which is far from our place) but aside from them, I think we were present.

We were only 6 in our family, my mom, my dad, and we were four siblings while it counts more since I have a wife and a daughter, my sister has two daughters and her boyfriend, and my little brother has his boyfriend..

We are now bigger and bigger in the family and I am excited to get another family bonding and get together with them. Although, I think it was last year or two years ago that we were complete where my mom and my sister together with her daughters and her boyfriend went home, we were very happy and complete to celebrate Christmas and New Year.

Nothing beats a complete family during Christmas season and a New year. Still, I'm so glad to have them as my family because they were the ones that gave meaning on celebrating Christmas.
