A Day That Felt Light and Easy
I took a rest day today and it feels like century that I had this kind of feeling of a rest day. Well, I missed this kind of rest day of a week and it's kind of a best feeling that I had a rest day for myself because I was really stressed with my work and things related to my life.
It's not that I really rest but I only got a few work that I do during the day but I feel good and refresh since the work is not as busy and stressful that I had before. Also, after doing the work, I call with the one that I love and talk anything about life and some funny moments.
I can say that I enjoyed this day even though that most of the time, I am only stayed in the house while nothing else to do and only working from home. I have other work aside from a freelance which is an ESL work, I was doing this in the past seven years already and I know the gist about this kind of industry but the salary didn't went up but stayed stagnant for a couple of years while the inflation goes up.
So, since today that I haven't got a heavy workload for myself, I keep myself out of the work and went outside for a rest for myself. I drove into the town that I went using an electric bike and look around the place, looking for something new like food or anything that interests me. I got a few stops while driving this electric bike and take note that the electric bike that I drove were very slow since I want it to drive around the town very slowly.
I enjoyed the scenery of the place and I am thrilled that I got a little round within the town and get to familiarize more with it. It was one of the best moment of the day that I experienced that since most of the time, I will face the computer doing some work while today has no work to do.
Well, I expect that in the new few days or few weeks, I will become more busy as it is now, so it will be a hellish week again but in the next week maybe around five or six days from now, I will go to other place and to travel together with my friend.
