It Begins With Me.

I cultivated a habit most people would find hilarious. The habit of complementing myself first before anyone else.

I have heard so many times when a person says self-appreciation is a sign of pride. Truth be told, it’s pride and yes, I still choose it anyway because I believe I owe myself the credit of self-commendations. Some folks will tell you to checkmate or reflect on self-actions when something wrong happens but call it a fault when we overdo ourselves.

This is my take on it, also me picking self-commendation whether I did right or wrong, I got the right to give myself that credit. I choose to remind Tory of how proud she made me when it’s good and call her on her fuck ups when things are done otherwise. I believe every change begins with the mentality of the person and that’s the more reason I’ll choose to always be proud of every step taken along the way.
