Meet Tippy The Mascot for the Upcoming Tip bot

Hi everyone I'm Tippy the magical capybara. I am the mascot for the @tippybot. I will also be posting updates, reports and such related to the bot ands activities.

Yes I have a unicorn born, but please don't think too much about it.Sometimes it changes color, position and even retracts. I have pegasus wings too, but that is another story. My existence is in fact a mystery. All I have been told by my parents is that I was created after a night of intoxicating elixir and magic mushrooms.🍷🍄

You may be wondering why is a capybara the mascot of the bot? Well capybaras are the friendliest animals in the world. We are also herd animals and depend on our communities. In this context it makes perfect sense why I would be the chosen mascot for a bot that supports the Hive community with tips.

Since I am a capybara other animals tend to flock to me -even animals others say are scary. You will often see pictures of me with other creatures but don't be scared. They wont hurt me. They usually just want to cuddle or ride on my back or sit on my head.This is the way.

Enough about me, you are likely here for information on the tipping bot.

The bot itself it pretty simple. A selected group of tippers will be allowed to use the bot to tip content creators who make awesome posts. My human handlers control the bot. They are a husband and wife team. The main person who is helping me write these posts is @cryptounicorn420. I can't write posts because I do not have hands. Also my native language is "Squeak "so most humans would not understand.

The "snake charmer" is in charge of the bot. I call him a snake charmer because he is always taking about Python and getting it to do what he wants. He works with technology and is the one who makes sure everything is running as smoothly as possible. He does have a Hive account but he is not active on the platform. Maybe that will change in the future.

Even though I am a cartoon capybara this account is run by humans.Even the reports will be done by humans and not the bot iself but the data is from the bot. I am a capybara and I don't really understand how any of this works.

The bot itself is not active yet and likely won't be until October. @cryptounicorn420 is going into surgery and needs time to recover. Once she is better, the bot will be live.

The max tips per day will be likely be set to 20 per person to start. Since this is a free service there is a strict budget. However the budget will increase/stabilize using a portion of the account earnings from posts and curation to feed the bot. @cryptounicorn420 is using her own assets to get things going. The plan is to increase the tip amount and increase the amount of people authorized to use the bot.The bot is a hungry snake for sure!

At the time of this post the CCD token is the top pick for the humans but they will also consider suggestions from the tippers. The tokens can change as well so nothing is set in stone. The humans are considering perhaps changing the tokens quarterly.

The tokens most considered are those that can be earned through HP delegations and/or curation. This helps to keep costs down.

The humans would like to , in the future, be able to tip more than one token at a time but that adds layers of complexity. Something about the snake needing to do more transactions which can cause more "bugs". Bugs can make the bot go to sleep or do other strange things. If there are any snake charmers with suggestions please comment and let us know.

We already have some amazing humans interested in using the tipping bot. We have a few spots open right now and will be adding more in the future. If you are interested please leave a comment below or contact cryptounicorn420 on Discord.

Capybaras are all about community and we will need the community's help with distributing tips. If you already use tip bot commands and want to be whitelisted to be able to use our bot for free (and get an equal tip for using the bot command), please let us know in the comments, or cryptounicorn420 discord account. Users will need to be whitelisted/authorized to use the bot. Since we are tipping both parties and this is a free service this allows us more control and also doubles as protection against potentially bad actors abusing the system.

As this account grows we will be adding more authorized users for the bot. Please do not get discouraged if you are not chosen for the first round. We will have a waiting list and will add more people as soon as our budget allows.

Whew... this was a long intro post. Please keep in mind this account will not be too active until likely mid-September, but will try to do another update before surgery.
