Honestly, I've discovered that giving isn't just something you do to please someone, but rather a feeling that brings you a strange sense of comfort. Some people think that giving has to be material, but the truth is that the simplest things we do from our heart can be far more valuable than any money. A smile in a time of sadness a kind word when someone needs it or even giving your time and these are things that mean more than any gift.

But sometimes you feel like you're giving more than you're receiving and that can be frustrating. But the truth I've learned is that true giving doesn't expect anything in return. When you give to someone you love you don't think about what they'll do next because you simply love to see them happy. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of yourself, either. If you keep giving without having anything to give so you'll feel drained.
