Hello, Splinterlands enthusiasts! In this week's social media challenge, I want to share my battle experience. This is the story of how I managed to defeat Quora Towershead using a lineup of dragon monsters.
Quora Towershead is a powerful monster from the Earth element and part of the gladiator card series. I often use it myself due to its incredible abilities. With double attack, healing capabilities, and Bloodlust that strengthens it each time it defeats an opponent, Quora Towershead often guarantees victory in battles.
In this particular battle, I faced Quora Towershead using a dragon summoner and chose the Earth element. My monster lineup consisted of VOID DRAGON, CARNAGE TITAN, and CHAOS DRAGON. These three were supported by two neutral element monsters, URAEUS and DISINTEGRATOR, with GOBLIN PSYCHIC as the healer for the front-line tank.
My strategy successfully limited Quora Towershead's abilities. Even though my opponent used a lineup that relied on martyr monsters, their placement was less than optimal. For example, the monster ARKEMIS THE BEAR in the back row seemed passive and did not attack, likely prepared as a tank to handle sneak attacks.
Here are the details of the battle that led me to victory:
CHAOS DRAGON: This monster has a scattershot attack that can target enemies in any row. This makes CHAOS DRAGON highly effective in breaking through opponents' layered defenses.
URAEUS and DISINTEGRATOR: These two neutral element monsters added attack strength and debuffs to the opponent's team. DISINTEGRATOR's demoralize ability reduced the physical attack power of the enemies, while URAEUS provided sneak attacks targeting the monsters in the back row.
GOBLIN PSYCHIC: As the healer, GOBLIN PSYCHIC ensured that the front-line tank remained longer in the fight. Its healing ability was crucial for keeping VOID DRAGON and CARNAGE TITAN enduring through the lengthy battle.
In this battle, the combination of attack and speed possessed by my dragon lineup successfully silenced Quora Towershead, which is typically very strong in the Splinterlands arena. Once Quora Towershead was defeated, its Bloodlust effect was no longer a threat, and I could control the flow of the battle more easily.
This battle highlights the importance of strategy and selecting the right monsters in Splinterlands. Although Quora Towershead is a very powerful card, with the right team lineup and strategy, we can defeat it.
