The happiness of giving which the joy that lasts
There are many things in the world that can bring us happiness but one of the most wonderful moments when I feel true joy is when I help someone and be the reason for their smile This feeling gives me an amazing positive energy and I believe that it is much more beautiful than any happiness that can come from money or personal success Just seeing someone who was sad or stressed and when you help them and find the smile back on their face that is an indescribable feeling.
Help doesnt have to be something big it could be a kind word a simple help at work or even moral support for someone who needs to hear a word of encouragement Sometimes I feel that people think that giving has to be material but the truth is that the simplest things we do can have a wonderful impact on those around us.
Once I was walking in the street and saw an elderly man trying to carry something heavy I approached him and helped him without thinking and the smile I saw on his face was enough to make me feel that this day was wonderful because of him Moments like these remain engraved in the heart and make one feel that he has a real role in the world.
I am a firm believer that goodness is a circle when you help someone today tomorrow you will find someone who will help you when you need it I hope that people start thinking more about the idea of giving without expecting anything in return because the joy that comes from it is more sincere and beautiful than any material gain In the end true happiness is not only in what we take from this world but in what we leave behind in peoples hearts.
