Singing in the Wrong Place, Febie.

Waking up in the morning is the best thing there is, especially when you don't have any worries that ruin your day. It's exciting to get up and know that today is special. Well, that's the case with Febie. She just woke up and already has something in mind that makes this day quite special. It's something she's been planning for months but hasn't dared to do yet because she was a little sad. But hey, she already feels prepared and has done everything possible to make this day go as expected. What she wants is to surprise her boyfriend. They met a few months ago but he hasn't taken the initiative to propose to her yet, so she wants to ask for his hand in marriage herself. It should be the other way around but she wants to take the initiative. To ask for his hand in marriage she wants to make him a surprise serenade by singing one of his favorite songs.

As soon as she wakes up, she gets ready and makes herself very pretty. Then she immediately goes out in her car to pick up those who are going to play with her in the surprise serenade. Of course, she is not going to sing alone, she needs instruments to make the occasion more special. That is why she hired some mariachis from Mexico. After picking everyone up at their house, it was time to head to her boyfriend's house. She knew that he got up late so she wanted to do the serenade before he woke up so it would be more surprising. But there was a problem: until now she had never been to her boyfriend's house so she did not know the exact address. Of course, her boyfriend sent her a message on her phone saying where she had to go if she wanted to visit him.

But she was in such a hurry that she barely looked at her phone and to top it off she left it at home, so she had to go with what she remembered of the address. If she went to the house to look for him she would lose a lot of time so she went there without fear of success. In a couple of minutes she arrived at her boyfriend's house, she told the mariachis that she had the memory of an elephant because she had arrived at the address just by seeing it once. When they got out of the car she saw that the windows were still closed so she breathed easy because she knew they had arrived on time. Now they just needed to quickly prepare the mariachis. So each one took their instrument and stood around her. Then she took the microphone from a karaoke machine that she was carrying and began to sing her boyfriend's favorite song.

She sang very well and the mariachis really tried hard to play well. The serenade was a great success. Although she got a few blunders out of her voice while singing it was nothing serious. Now all that was left was to see her boyfriend's response to see what he would say. Before he opened the window, she said to him through the microphone: Manuel, will you be my husband? The people in the neighborhood came out to see what was happening and they didn't understand why she was doing all that. And here the one who was going to get the surprise was not Manuel but herself.

A neighbor told her that the person living there was Miriam, an older woman, not Manuel. She couldn't believe it. To break the ice, Miriam came out of the window and said it was the fuss they had started. Febie wanted to drop dead from embarrassment. It turned out that she had seen the wrong address. She remembered that Manuel had told her to go around the corner. How embarrassing she had given the serenade in the wrong place and now everyone was looking at her without knowing how to react. Miriam jokingly shouted from the window that thank you but she was already married. Everyone ended up laughing and even Febie too. So everything ended there and they got in the car again. It was almost 9 in the morning so they were against the clock to give Manuel the serenade at his house.

Just around the corner there was Manuel's house, just as he had told her but she hadn't seen it yet because she was absent-minded. Now they were finally there. They got out of the car again and began to organize themselves to start singing. The good thing was that Manuel hadn't gotten up yet, it was lucky that he was such a sleepyhead. So one day they started playing and singing and she sang him her favorite song. Manuel, still half asleep, heard the music and quickly opened the window of his house to see what was happening.

When he looked at her, it was Febie, and he immediately realized what was happening. When the song ended, he told her that it had been very nice and that she had really surprised him, he had not expected that at all. Those words relieved her because the serenade had fulfilled its objective. Now the question was missing, the big question. She asked him if he wanted to be her husband. He began to cry because he did not know what to say, he only said yes of course my love. After that he came down and they hugged and kissed. She told him what I have to tell you, love, what just happened to me.
