True love emerges in times of hardship

True love isn't just about sweet words or happy moments. It emerges in times of hardship, when the world shuts down and everything is difficult. I believe that a person can't discover their true feelings until they're in a crisis. Only then do they know who truly loves them and who was just there for the good times.

In times of hardship you find the one who truly loves you standing by you without you even asking for them to do that. They'll help you even if they don't know how as long as they don't leave you alone. Support can come in the form of a word, a gesture, or even just their presence. This is what differentiates true love from superficial feelings that disappear with the first challenge.

I want to clarify that love isn't necessarily between lovers alone, but also between family, friends and even colleagues. The person who truly loves you will be willing to share your sadness before your happiness and will be with you at your worst before your best. This is what differentiates a relationship worth continuing from one that will end with the first real test in few moments.

I believe the most beautiful feeling in the world is finding someone to support you in your time of need, to feel your pain without you even having to say a word and to stay by your side until the crisis passes. That's true love not gifts or temporary romantic moments, but the moments that prove that someone sees you as a priority even in the most difficult times.
