My view on giving without expecting anything in return

I believe that giving is not just about money or material things, giving can be a kind word, time, support, or even a sincere smile. I always try to give what I can, even if it is simple, because the idea is not in the quantity, the idea is in the intention. Someone might need something small and I can help them without realizing it, but for them it makes a big difference. Life is give and take, and I choose to be one of those who write down, not just take.

Sometimes you have something that you don't notice, something that you see as ordinary or even worthless to you, but for someone else it is a treasure or a lifeline. You might have free time and someone needs to hear a word of encouragement, or you might have a simple piece of information that you can help them with, or even something old that you don't use and someone else can benefit from it. The idea is to be aware that giving doesn't have to be something huge, sometimes something small from you makes a big difference in someone else's life.

If you think about it, you will find that the whole of humanity is based on the idea of giving, from the time when primitive man taught his children how to hunt and farm, until now when someone passes on his experience or knowledge to another. Every generation builds on the one before it, and if everyone kept what he had for himself, we would still be trying to discover fire! Giving is not just material assistance, but the accumulation of knowledge, experiences, feelings, and all of this is what keeps us going.

Giving is not when to be rich or having a lot but it is tied to your heart and your ability to participate. You do not have to wait to have millions to help because there are many things you can give without losing anything such as a smile, advice or support, even listening to someone who needs to confide in you. Life is simpler than calculating giving in numbers, the important thing is that you give from your heart, at any time and in any place, even if it is small things, because for someone else it could be something very big.
