Cat's Story - a message without words
A young man was returning from college after a long and tiring day He was walking down the street lost in thought Suddenly he heard a faint meowing sound as if someone were calling him but in a different language He looked around and saw a small cat sitting next to a lamppost looking hungry and exhausted.
The young man stood in front of it confused Should he continue on his way or help it In a moment of rationality he said to himself Man not every cat you see should you help But at the same moment he felt something strange It was as if the cat was looking at him pleadingly as if there were words without words.
He didn't think much about it so he went into the nearest store bought a small bag of food for the cat and continued on his way But he still felt something strange and the moment he opened the bag and offered it the food the cat looked at him strangely a look of gratitude a look of appreciation It was as if it was saying I was waiting for you.
The young man smiled without realizing it and he felt that he had done something nice even if it was small He felt that the tiring routine day had taken on a different meaning The cat ate greedily then walked away and disappeared But he stood still for a few moments realizing that sometimes the small things we do which we might see as insignificant have a big impact whether on us or others.
