Big Fat Phonies/¡FARSANTES DE MIERDA!—ENG/ESP

See, there are pretenders who say they love to chew paracetamol or other forms of tablets and there's their chief-in-staff, which are people who promise to "be there for you". Hi everyone, it's none other than Abeegail and welcome to my blog. Today I'm talking about a topic that gets me enraged, so I might shout here and there but I promise you, no hard feelings. So let's proceed to rage.

This post comes in English and Spanish. Enjoy.

Mental health is now getting the attention it deserves but at what cost. Everyone is walking around eggshells and wearing their prettiest smile when mental health is brought up but most of you are big fat liars and you don't even know it. You are always quick to beat your chest and say "I'm such a good person", "I'm such a good person" but you are lairs and you don't know it. You want to soothe your ego so bad that you are not willing to acknowledge it even if it's staring right at you.

This post is specifically for those people who say that they "would be there" and when the person struggling reaches out it's a problem. I saw one post where a woman said that people should stay away and do away with friends who are always complaining, always sad, always down, always have something going on, that those friends are toxic and would bring negative energy into your life. She's not entirely wrong, could she have worded it better, yes or maybe not, it's a sweet thing to say, not really because people who are struggling tend not reach out, they rather that problem eat them alive, than opening up and then feeling like a burden, so saying such will just stop them from reaching out, which might end up badly for them.

It's okay to know that you can't handle that, it's okay if you know you don't have the power or ability to handle just a friend just pass it unto professional help or people who are willing, instead of saying you'll be there then develop a problem along the way. Don't say it because you want to perceived as a good person, because you like the Idea of being the friend who people count on, because you want it to look like you want to help. It's a problem because it's okay until it's no longer convenient for you, until talking about the same thing the fourth time bores you, until it's tiring to listen, until it no longer fits in you schedule. Maybe the person gets to reach out like one or twice now it's an issue, it's "why is this one always sad", "this same thing again", "isn't it enough". NO!!!, It's not enough, I'm going to talk about it for the hundredth time, you bloody pretender, because you said you'll be there.

¡NO!

(The look they give you when you come "complaining" for the nth time)

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they get to be my unpaid therapist that I just offload things on whenever I like, I'm not entitled to anybody's time, it's your life but YOU said that YOU'LL BE THERE, YOU!! YOU!!! YOU OOO!!!. Nobody forced you, They didn't hold you at gunpoint ooo, you can say NO, I can't deal with this, not something I can handle, seek professional help or someone who can handle this better but you wanted to be a good person but you don't want to be good till the end.

(The look I'll be serving because I was stupid enough to think you'll actually be there for me)

Don't piss me off joor
¡No me hagas enfadar, hombre!

And shout out to the real ones, the ones who said they would be there, and they were. The ones that listen a hundred million times and never complained, the ones that cried with and for you. There's a special mansion in heaven with correct air conditioning for you. I love you. Because people don't get to have people like you.

It's Still Abeegail ✨💗
Just spotting out the pretenders,

Sigue siendo Abeegail.
Solo señalando a los farsantes.
