The second item on my silver wish list
Is a silver round that's just logical to get at some point because I have the previous three silver rounds in the series in my collection already. I'm talking about the Australian Chinese myths and legends collection, where I already have a dragon, phoenix and koi and dragon round at home. With the phoenix probably being my absolute favourite and even in the top of my favourite rounds in the collection.
When browsing for new items on the wish list, I realised that I may have missed a new release in this collection and it turns out that there is indeed a new coin for 2024 available. I don't know how long but that doesn't matter, what matters is that I need to get one to complete the collection so far.

I really love the description I found on the site of Perth mint:
At the heart of Chinese mythology for thousands of years, the four mythical guardians are here to help protect investors’ wealth in the form of this exclusive bullion coin struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver.
What's not to love? The mintage is 25000 and of 99.99% pure silver. So far this collection has not disappointed me at all and I'm quite sure this design looks even better in real life than on a screen.
Reading this it suddenly makes sense that there are 5 creatures instead of 4. I first thought the tortoise was being protected by the 4 others but now I learned that the tortoise with snake together is a symbol of the north, winter and water.
This part I will probably never look at, haha. Thankfully the other side is pretty enough to ignore this side, lol.
I was curious if you have one in your collection already @silversaver888? As I know you've been collecting this series too.
So this is items number 2 for my wish list, in a few days I will share another one!
Oh, I forgot about this Australian coin.
My first thoughts is that this scene seems chaotic a design, yes there is a story behind this.
